Cosmic Fog Premium Review

Cosmic Fog - another line of gourmet blends that I’ve heard plenty about around the forums, although I found very little information online about the guys themselves apart from a very humble & somewhat dedicated mission statement found on their Facebook profile which in itself was quite nice although there’s not much else. On looking through Cosmic Fog’s website, I noticed there’s no way of actually making a direct purchase from them but the good news is that their blends are available from most reputable vendors so finding some shouldn’t be a problem – even in the UK.
The selection I have for review were given to me (not by the manufacturer) as a gift along with the vendors proprietary RDA which I’ll be making a separate video review soon. For this reason I’ll be using Cosmic Fog’s details available online.

For this review I used the Russian 91% v2 (Kanthal A1 34g – Quad Twisted / 6 Wraps with Organic Japanese Cotton) on the Joyetech eVic Supreme with all blends.

Please note: When making a review of vendor products, you usually get an idea after testing a few liquids the quality & dynamic of their production processes. Because of this i choose 5 liquids to review. If a vendor has more than 1 line of e-liquid (such as standard & premium) i will review 5 from each. Any e-liquids that say IN TESTING or AWAITING REVIEW/DELIVERY next to the title will be updated in due time. I like to take my time with a product which is usually a week but sometimes it could be more & sometimes less. These reviews are my own opinions & the score i give each is my own preference score. A rating of 7 for me might be a 10 for you. 10 for me is the perfect vape in flavour complexity, vapour production & throat hit on any & every device i try it on.

NUTZ REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 3 Days
Received: This item was given to me
Equipment: Russian 91% v2 (Kanthal A1 34g – Quad Twisted / 6 Wraps – 1.7ohm @ 14 Watts with Organic Japanese Cotton) on the Joyetech eVic Supreme

From the name given to this gourmet blend, you would expect either a “nutty” type vape or a blend that’s just completely crazy & that leaves you guessing although I can however confirm it’s neither. Nutz (as advertised) is a strawberry, almond & honey crème blend which before testing I thought was a bold attempt - when considering the flavour profile of almond tends to be quite strong & to date I haven’t tried a blend that had almond & other flavours that fused perfectly together or where the almond flavouring doesn’t hinder the overall mixture. Upon opening the bottle, the first aroma that caught my attention would be comparable to Amaretto – just not as strong with slight nuances of a sweet, candied fruit but I couldn’t tell it was the strawberry. On inhale the almond really comes through which is what I expected although the only clear way of explaining it in terms of taste would be comparable to a delicious Bakewell Tart minus the cherry – so much so, that if this blend was called The Bakewell, the flavour profile would’ve been spot on. I really couldn’t nail the strawberry during the days of testing although there’s definitely a pleasant candied fruit presence. On exhale there’s a sweetness that stays on the tongue & an almond type creaminess that stays in the mouth. Throat hit was very smooth although full of flavour & vapour production was superb with an almost “bakery” type almond carrying aroma – again comparable to a Bakewell tart. I would recommend this blend for the more “mature” of vapers or the vaping “connoisseur”. Would I purchase Nutz? No I wouldn’t because it’s not the kind of blend I go for personally although the blend itself was very enjoyable. Could Nutz be an all day vape? Yes it could be, very easily – flavour is consistent with a mild degree of complexity with every vape. On a scale from 1 to 10, Nutz gets a 7 – with a strawberry (not cherry) on top. All in all one of the top almond type, dessert vapes available (that I’ve tried).

KRYPTONITE REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 2 Days
Received: This item was given to me
Equipment: Russian 91% v2 (Kanthal A1 34g – Quad Twisted / 6 Wraps – 1.7ohm @ 14.6 Watts with Organic Japanese Cotton) on the Joyetech eVic Supreme

The Kryptonite blend – as described by the manufacturer is “a vape you couldn't put down to save your life” – now that’s the boldest statement I think I’ve seen as yet so I was hoping for the best. Kryptonite itself is advertised as a melon & candy blend which both appealed to me from the get go. Upon opening the bottle, the watermelon aroma was pleasantly intense with a slight sweetness to it. On inhale the flavour profile is spot on to what’s being advertised. The watermelon flavour itself is layered with what I can only describe as maybe a honey dew cantaloupe. The flavour is strong & very moreish with high notes of what would be the “candy” although for some reason it did remind me more of a marshmallow type candy. I did find this blend pretty drying on my throat which I think is a standard where watermelon flavouring is used as it always happens (with me anyway). On exhale I found the watermelon slightly tones down & becomes very candy like which I found strengthens the whole profile of what Kryptonite is supposed to represent. I wouldn’t call Kryptonite a “gourmet” blend as such simply because what I get is a delicious, lightly sweetened fruit blend & from the aroma, I knew exactly more or less what to expect – so, would I purchase the Kryptonite? No I wouldn’t although the testing was a pleasure. Could Kryptonite be an all day vape? I think it could be although if watermelon tends to dry your throat like it does to me – maybe all day would be a bit too much, & for that reason, on a scale from 1 to 10, the Kryptonite gets a 6.

THE SHOCKER REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 3 Days
Received: This item was given to me
Equipment: Russian 91% v2 (Kanthal A1 34g – Quad Twisted / 6 Wraps – 1.6ohm @ 14.8 Watts with Organic Japanese Cotton) on the Joyetech eVic Supreme

The Shocker (as advertised) is more or less a tropical/citrus mix & was my absolute favorite from the 5 I tested. The aroma when opening the bottle is sublime & very inviting. Straight off the bat I could smell an array of tropical aromas but the complexity of this blend really shines through once you start vaping & the reason I say that is because from the start what I could smell was mostly not what I tasted. On inhale you’re greeted with layer upon layer of tropical goodness which (from what my taste buds told me) started off with a guava/mango type flavour, then I could taste slight nuances of pineapple, watermelon & a coconut creaminess with high tones of the berries which I believe is more than strawberry – maybe some blueberry or raspberry – then to complete the process you’re hit with the refreshing citrus side of The Shocker which is comparable (to me) like a lemon & grapefruit type mix. On exhale the citrusy side stands out more than the fruity side although a candied type strawberry does tend to stay on the tongue. Throat hit I found slightly “spicier” than the others but I believe that’s down to the lemon – although still very smooth. Vapour production was superb with an absolutely refreshing & delicious carrying aroma. Would I purchase The Shocker? Yes I would & yes I will – I love the stuff & find it amongst the best in its class of vapes. Could The Shocker be an all day vape? Yes it could – a terrific blend! On a scale from 1 to 10 The Shocker gets a 9 (Peaking 10).

COLA GUMMY REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 3 days
Received: This item was given to me
Equipment: Russian 91% v2 (Kanthal A1 34g – Quad Twisted / 6 Wraps – 1.6ohm @ 15.2 Watts with Organic Japanese Cotton) on the Joyetech eVic Supreme

This one bought back memories even before I opened the bottle! I used to purchase cola gummies religiously when I was younger from the local “sweet shop” & when I first opened the bottle I actually muttered “wow” to myself. The aroma is spot on it really is & I couldn’t wait to get stuck in that I actually wasted a few ml by not assembling my Russian 91% properly when re wicking – but when I did fix those issues I was definitely taken on a trip down memory lane. Cola Gummy is one of those blends where what you read & smell is quite literally what you’re going to taste which makes this review very simple – in fact it couldn’t get simpler. On inhale you’re greeted by a blast of cola gummy goodness on all levels with a slight sweetness which was a plus for me because if it was overly sweet I believe it may have become a touch sickening! But what really surprised me was the citrusy aspects on the top end which mimic the “fizz” coating real cola gummies have & this was consistent with every vape (I’m guessing citrusy because it’s the only word I could relate the sensation with). On exhale the citrusy notes dissipate leaving you with a somewhat creamy cola candy flavour on the tongue. I found the Cola Gummy very moreish & would constantly be reaching for my mod without even realizing. I’m not sure what kind of vaper I would recommend the Cola Gummy to as I find it more of a novelty blend than a serious go-to vapers blend, although that being said – it is a very nice gourmet creation with some great qualities & a distinct complexity in regards to what it represents. Throat hit I found quite smooth although the citrusy top end does provide a slight kick which I found quite satisfying. Vapour production was just as good as all the others & the carrying aroma was straight Cola Gummy – delicious & yummy. Would I purchase the Cola Gummy? Yes I probably would but I think nostalgia’s kicking in a little. Could the Cola Gummy be can all day vape? Yes it could be if the flavour profile appeals to you & I found no excess drying of the mouth while I was vaping it. On a scale from 1 to 10 the Cola Gummy gets an 8 & oh does it bring back memories if you’re an old fogie like me.

CHURCH REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 3 days
Received: This item was given to me
Equipment: Russian 91% v2 (Kanthal A1 34g – Quad Twisted / 6 Wraps – 1.5ohm @ 15.8 Watts with Organic Japanese Cotton) on the Joyetech eVic Supreme

The last of the 5 I tested & a blend i kept specifically for that reason because I do have a sweet tooth when it comes to e-liquids. The Church blend (as advertised) is a vanilla ice cream, banana & fudge gourmet blend & that description itself is enough to make you salivate a little. The aroma upon opening the bottle reminded me of a creme brulee blend just with hints of banana. On inhale I could clearly taste a candied banana with a creaminess & thickness on par with custardy blends. The vanilla becomes present on the top end along with a slight sweetness - but ever so slightly & perfectly suited. The hot fudge flavouring of this blend covers all aspects of the vape meaning it’s there – you can clearly taste fudge but it doesn’t take over the partner flavours, it enhances the overall flavour profile IMO. Throat hit I found a touch too mild for me but then again blends like this are for flavour junkies & it definitely scores high marks in that department. Vapour production was superb & the carrying aroma again reminded me of a creme brulee blend. The blend itself is very consistent, vape after vape – tank after tank. Would I purchase the Church? No I wouldn’t because it reminds me too much of a creme brulee blend & I already have my favorite/s but I will say that it’s a delicious blend with a lovely “thickness” in flavour. Could the Church be an all day vape? I don’t think so, even for vapers that have a sweet tooth like I do because it can become a bit much - & this IMO goes for almost all sweet blends. On a scale from 1 to 10 the Church gets a holy 7 (not that the number 7 is holy).

OVERALL OPINIONS:
Overall the testing period was very enjoyable with all blends being above average. I would have liked to have known a little more information about the company, for example their bottling methods – lab tests etc but I couldn’t find anything which for me (& I’m sure for many) is a negative. I also find the labeling would appeal to youngsters & I feel all vendors should take heed of this, especially with all the media attempts focusing on children & vaping! At the end of the day it’s adults that will be purchasing these products – not children but why add fuel to the fire (IMO). So to summarize quickly: Cosmic Fog have a unique & delicious line of gourmet e-liquids & well worth the money. I look forward to more from Cosmic Fog.

Drakes Vapes Premium Review

Sometimes looking around for quality blends really does pay off even if it does cost double the amount & quadruple the delivery time a national vendor could provide you with. I’ve heard all too many times that there’s no real difference in quality when it comes to e-liquids due to the fact it’s more or less the same ingredients being used – but I beg to differ & those people definitely have no clue (or taste) - which brings me on to my next review – Drake’s Vapes!

Up until around a few months ago I heard nothing about this manufacturer & when I went searching around to gather a little more info I found Kevin Drake’s – Drake’s Vapes Facebook profile. From what I’ve seen, there’s a dedicated website (www.drakesvapes.com) where Kevin showcases his gourmet selections with an interesting “about” section regarding how Drake’s Vapes came to be. You can’t actually purchase direct from the website & instead get redirected to the Vape Goddess website which I’m guessing would be the main authorized reseller - but it’s not the vendor I purchased my selection from - So, i will be using the details provided on the Vape Goddess website & prices for this review. (I’ve seen a few online vendors in the UK that sell these blends at more or less the same exchange rate equivalent so for my readers in the UK, a 15ml bottle shouldn’t cost more than £9 to £10 – is it worth it though!)

I urge you to check out Kevin’s website or Facebook profile. There’s plenty of information & pictures of the gourmet blender himself - of which I must say that Kevin looks like the friendliest person ever & that just put a positive note on the whole Drake’s Vapes “experience”.

YOLO REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 3 Days
Received: This item was purchased by me
Equipment: Joyetech Delta 23, Joyetech eVic Supreme, Joyetech C3 Triple Coil Atomizer – 1.4ohm @ 18 Watts

The YOLO is a lemonade & lavender gourmet blend which to be completely honest is the most bizarre fusion of ingredients I’ve come across thus far. At first I was a little hesitant in making the YOLO purchase because I smell lavender on occasions from the air freshener I have in the bathroom. But as the name suggests – You Only Live Once! On opening the bottle I was surprised at just how well the scent of the lemon/lemonade masks the lavender which is a plus for me because although lavender has a lovely, fragrant aroma – it’s just not something that would appeal to me as a vaper from the get go, actually I probably wouldn’t have even made the YOLO review if it did. On inhale you really start to appreciate the complexity & thought processes behind the making of this blend! The lemon/lemonade flavour is crisp, clean & very refreshing with high notes of what reminded me of maybe clove or close enough to something that fits that profile. A slight sweetness which was perfect on every inhale with a slight “edge” all round (not sour). On exhale slight nuances of the lavender shine through but it’s not overpowering in the slightest & compliments the other flavours incredibly well. I’m not sure how this creation was born but all I can say is bravo to this “ballsy” yet brilliant fusion idea. Throat hit had a slight spice to it which gave a satisfying kick to the back of my throat & vapour production was superb with a pleasant carrying aroma – not lemonade or lavender for that matter but very pleasant. I’m not sure what kind of vaper the YOLO would appeal to but it’s a refreshing “go to” blend to have when you get tired of the same stuff all the time & a good blend to put your taste buds back in check when flavours from your regulars start to get a little dull. Would I purchase the YOLO again? No I wouldn’t & that’s only because it doesn’t fit the flavour profile I personally vape although the blend itself is superb! Could the YOLO be an all day vape? Yes it could very easily & don’t let the lavender scare you because it really is the cherry on top. On a scale from 1 to 10 the YOLO gets a 7. Give it a try – you only live once after all!

PUNKY BRUISER REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 4 Days
Received: This item was purchased by me
Equipment: Joyetech Delta 23, Joyetech eVic Supreme, Joyetech C3 Triple Coil Atomizer – 1.4ohm @ 19.5 Watts

I had a little giggle when I first saw the name of this blend. The Punky Bruiser - which sounds more like a name given to that special type of foliage found abundantly throughout coffee shops in Amsterdam (& almost everywhere for that matter) -  is advertised as more or less a citrus/fruit punch gourmet blend . On opening the bottle there’s plenty happening in the aroma department & I can firmly say that what you smell is only a fraction of what you actually taste – for example, straight off the bat I could smell hints of maybe pineapple, orange & lemon with a slight spiciness reminiscent of star anise. On inhale my taste buds were blasted with an array of flavours with layer upon layer that seemed to change with every vape & as I couldn’t nail it down to specifics, these flavours are what I did taste: lemon/lime, orange, pineapple, watermelon, strawberry, blueberry, (maybe) raspberry & a tartness that I could only associate with grapefruit. Now I’m really not certain if all these flavours were actually used but this is what I tasted & what I really liked about this blend was the fact that not 1 flavour overpowered the other! It’s as consistent as it is complex with a perfect balance between sweet & sour. I found the orangey/lemony flavours come through more on the top end during inhale with the tartness being kind of like an after effect during exhale which actually makes the blend strangely moreish. Throat hit I found perfect & was spot on in terms of kick to what I like. Vapour production was, again, superb with a really delicious carrying aroma that reminded me of SweetTarts I used to buy as a kid. Would I purchase the Punky bruiser again? Yes I would hands down. Could the Punky Bruiser be an all day vape? Yes – it’s such a complex fruit blend that the question should be “Why couldn’t you vape this all day”. On a scale from 1 to 10 the Punky Bruiser gets a 10 (for a fruit type blend).

MELON FIASCO REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 3 Days
Received: This item was purchased by me
Equipment: Joyetech Delta 23, Joyetech eVic Supreme, Joyetech C3 Triple Coil Atomizer – 1.4ohm @ 17 Watts

Ok, I think the name says it all with this blend! The Melon Fiasco is a watermelon & cantaloupe gourmet blend & was the easiest to review out of the 5 because that’s exactly what you get. On inhale you get the sweet combination of watermelon & what tasted to me like honey dew cantaloupe. The blend itself is so refreshing & bold in flavour that you just can’t go wrong with this if you’re a melon fan. The sweetness was only just slight & I noticed a creaminess in the mouth during exhale. After using the MF for the 3 days of testing I did notice dryness – more so than all the others I tested which I think is due to the watermelon as it’s something I’ve noticed before with watermelon blends. The cantaloupe I believe is what adds the sweetness & creaminess to the whole blend. I wouldn’t call the MF complex but it is very consistent in flavour. Throat hit I found more on the smooth side, much smoother than the Punky Bruiser & YOLO. Vapour production was great of course with a refreshing, clean carrying aroma which leaned more towards the watermelon. The flavours themselves are more on the candy side than a representation of the real fruit/s but still – spot on if that makes sense. Would I purchase the MF again? No I wouldn’t – not for me I’m afraid but again, this is a well developed blend. Could the MF be an all day vape? Yes it could be if you like your melon type blends – actually I think you would love this as it’s one of the best types I’ve tried in its class. On a scale from 1 to 10 the Melon Fiasco gets a respectable 6.

VANILLA TRIFECTA REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 3 days
Received: This item was purchased by me
Equipment: Joyetech Delta 23, Joyetech eVic Supreme, Joyetech C3 Triple Coil Atomizer – 1.4ohm @ 19 Watts

I really like the name of this blend! Vanilla Trifecta just sounds like a classy blend from the get go & was 1 of the main blends I couldn’t wait to start vaping on because I do like dessert vapes & the VT is advertised as a vanilla/custard gourmet blend. I’ve tried many custardy type blends & I think it’s one of those flavour profiles that’s hard to get spot on in terms of consistency. On opening the bottle the aroma was superb! The scent of the sweet vanilla really stands out – good enough to drink (which I wouldn’t advise although I came close). On inhale I was impressed & I mean really impressed – absolutely delicious, creamy notes of vanilla with slight high notes of what I can only explain as maybe nutmeg with hints of cinnamon. The vape itself was “thick” & what I mean by that is what I got was a truly creamy vanilla custard that reminded me of ambrosia custard & for those that have had ambrosia custard – this is spot on in terms of complexity & consistency. VT is by far 1 of my top selections for a dessert/custard type vape & is the most luxurious in its class! On exhale a sweetness stays on the tongue, the creaminess from the custard envelops the mouth & the vanilla flavour sticks to the taste buds. I found each & every vape full of flavour which again impressed me because another thing I notice with these type of blends is dullness in flavour after extended vaping sessions. Throat hit I found silky smooth which wasn’t strong enough for me but the flavour was so good it didn’t bother me & vapor production was (just like the others) superb on the Delta. Would I purchase the VT again? 100% yes! Could the VT be an all day vape? Not for me because it’s just too good! Blends like this need to be vaped during relaxation where you can really appreciate it. On a scale from 1 to 10 the Vanilla Trifecta gets a 10 – peaking 11. Buy it – Vape it – Love it!

DRAKEULA REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 3 days
Received: This item was purchased by me
Equipment: Joyetech Delta 23, Joyetech eVic Supreme, Joyetech C3 Triple Coil Atomizer – 1.4ohm @ 16 – 21.5 Watts

The Drakeula is another citrus type gourmet blend with a twist & it smells so good. I’m guessing the name Drakeula (Drake-ula) comes from the blood orange flavouring used. Black cherries & guava are also in the flavour description & it sounds absolutely delicious so again I couldn’t wait to get down to business. The aroma itself when I opened the bottle was delightful & fruity. The guava really stands out more so than the other flavours so to be honest I was expecting basically a guava vape – which itself didn’t sound bad to me because I love guava with a passion. During the testing period I found that upping the voltage would make the flavours “switch” during the inhale & what I mean by that is at 16 Watts, the tangy blood orange would come through at first with high notes of guava, then the higher in voltage I went it would switch from guava to high notes of tangy blood orange. I ended up at 21.5 watts which was perfect for me on the set up I was using & I found produced the most flavour all round. So on inhale at 21.5 watts I tasted straight guava & at its peak I could clearly taste the tangy blood orange, now I’m not sure where the black cherry fits in because I just couldn’t spot it so I’m guessing it maybe just enhances the guava flavour or adds to the sweetness all round. I did find Drakeula very tangy – borderline sharp & the sweetness was only just slight but then I suppose it adds to the blend’s complexity & character. On exhale the citrusy notes of the blood orange  really become clear & the taste of guava stays on the tongue which was consistent every time. Throat hit was perfect for me & provided a good, robust kick each & every time. Vapour production was (I let you guess) with a lovely guava carrying aroma. I can see this blend attracting more mature vapers or those with a certain palate (not sure if that makes sense). Would I purchase Drakeula again? No I wouldn’t although it’s a lovely blend – just not for me. Could Drakeula be an all day vape? Yes it could be to the right vaper & for those that don’t like their citrus/fruity blends to have much sweetness. On a score from 1 to 10 the Drakeula gets a 7.

OVERALL OPINIONS:
Drake’s Vapes have really impressed me! True gourmet, quality blends that have been created perfectly. I have a few more reviews coming up from vendors with a limited selection but one thing I’ve noticed is that less really is more – especially when it comes to vaping. Most vendors spew out countless flavours & I’m not knocking them because I do like quite a few blends by some vendors that have big menus – but it really makes a difference when a vendor just concentrates on a specific line & sticks to it keeping the consistency & quality the same time & time again. Drake’s Vapes is a shining start in our community & I place these blends on par with Suicide Bunny in terms of superior quality. The DV line seems to concentrate more on fruity blends so of course it will not appeal to every vaper but if you do like those kind of blends then you’re in for a real treat. I really wish the best for Kevin & I hope the Drakes Vapes line stays at such a high standard – quality through & through! Time to go & give the Drake’s Vapes Facebook profile a well deserved like :)

Suicide Bunny Premium Review

Suicide Bunny, an American based company have certainly made their mark from within the vaping community & to date I’ve heard & seen mostly nothing but great reviews. I didn’t purchase the review selection direct from the vendor but headed over to their site for a little more information & what struck me was just how well designed their website is with superb images of the bunny herself – Pip  Gresham. Descriptions on the website make it clear that these premium blends are a creation of love which as a long time vaper really appeals to me from a consumer standpoint because that’s were true quality comes from IMO. Another point I’d like to make is the art on the labeling is the best I’ve seen so far on any e-liquid bottle – brilliant!

For this review I used an authentic KayFun 3.1 on the Joyetech eVic Supreme on all blends.

Please note: When making a review of vendor products, you usually get an idea after testing a few liquids the quality & dynamic of their production processes. Because of this i choose 5 liquids to review. If a vendor has more than 1 line of e-liquid (such as standard & premium) i will review 5 from each.

MOTHER’S MILK REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 4 Days
Received: This item was purchased by me
Equipment: Joyetech eVic Supreme, SvoeMesto KayFun 3.1, Kanthal A1 (28g) 8 Wraps – 1.2ohm @ 17.5 Watts, Japanese Organic Cotton

I’ve read many positive comments about the Mother’s Milk blend so it was my first choice when it came to this review. Mother’s Milk (as advertised) is a Strawberry & Custard gourmet mix & on opening the bottle the aroma confirmed that. On inhale you get a full bodied, sumptuous & perfectly creamy taste of the custard with slight hints of a candied type strawberry which becomes stronger & much more favourful during the progression of the vape with a slight sweetness which was a positive because I think if this blend was too sweet, it would have destroyed this piece of gourmet art – so delicious I actually muttered “mmmmm”. On exhale the flavour is still all there but leaves a silky, sweet creaminess in your mouth which I found to be consistent time & time again. Throat hit was way too smooth for me being a 70% VG mix but that didn’t bother me in the slightest & vapour production was superb with a fruity sweet carrying aroma which had a few people asking me what I was vaping. I think there’s no better name for this blend because I found it highly satisfying & comforting in some respects. Would I purchase Mother’s Milk again? Yes & I already have. Could this blend be an all day vape? Yes it can & dessert type vapers will NEED this in their collection. On a scale from 1 to 10 Mother’s Milk gets a 10 & is definitely in my list as 1 of the best e-liquids available on the market & I just hope the complexity & consistency stays the same.

I’m not certain how this blend became named Madrina but I’m sure there’s logic to the madness & after asking my very good friend Mr.Google for some information, I found out that it’s a Spanish word meaning Godmother (& a few other things). On opening the bottle I was greeted by a fragrant & sweet honey dew melon/cantaloupe style aroma that was quite strong so I couldn’t mistake it. On inhale I got a lovely, mildly sweet custardy type taste that morphs in to the melon which just like the Mother’s Milk enhances during the progression of the vape. I also got some hints of (what I think was) cinnamon or something similar but I just couldn’t put my finger on it even after 30ml. On exhale the melon flavour dissipates but your left with the creaminess of the custard in the mouth which I found very yummy. Madrina is as complex as it is consistent & overall I think this blend was well executed during creation. Throat hit was very smooth & vapour production was quality with an amazingly pleasant & sweet carrying aroma that lingers. Would I purchase the Madrina again? No I wouldn’t because although it’s a very satisfying vape – it’s not the kind of flavour I personally look for in an e-liquid. Could this be an all day vape? Yes very easily & provides consistent flavour with every vape. On a scale from 1 to 10 the Madrina gets an 8.

DERAILED REVIEW: 12mg

The Derailed blend I found delicious as soon as I opened the bottle that i literally wanted to drink it! Strong banana milk shake type aroma with cinnamon so I knew what to expect in terms of flavour. Again I’m not sure how the name Derailed came about & seems a bit strange because I think of a mess or something that’s a wreck “off the tracks” (no pun intended) so to speak when I hear that word – but this blend is far from a mess! On inhale I got the most buttery, pastry & custardy type candied banana flavour that was as bold as it was complex with the sweet, golden cinnamon taste becoming present on the top end (or high notes if that’s your thing) & on exhale the "pastry" side of this blend really stands out which again, just like the previous blends left a creamy aftertaste that was scrumptious. Definitely a gourmet blend I would recommend to dessert vapers! When it comes to banana type vapes I’ve never been a fan & in all honesty this is the best banana blend I’ve tried to date because the other flavours not only enhance the banana, they compliment it so well. Throat hit was very smooth & a touch spicy which provided a little kick (more than the previous 2) & vapour production was quality. The aroma left behind from the “clouds” was pleasant but I did notice a strange scent that I believe is from the cinnamon because  I’ve smelt the same thing when I’ve vaped cinnamon blends in the past – not stinky but it’s there! Would I purchase Derailed again? No I wouldn’t with the same excuse as I had with the Madrina. Could this be an all day vape? Yes it could, smooth, satisfying & full of flavour. On a scale from 1 to 10 Derailed gets a 7.

THE O.B REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 4 days
Received: This item was purchased by me
Equipment: Joyetech eVic Supreme, SvoeMesto KayFun 3.1, Kanthal A1 (28g) 8 Wraps – 1.1ohm @ 18.5 Watts, Japanese Organic Cotton

The O.B or the Original Bunny blend I’m guessing is Suicide Bunny’s signature blend although I’m not sure & probably wrong – albeit when I opened the bottle the aroma was very pleasant but I couldn’t pin the scent down to anything other than a baker’s cake or a vanilla type pastry of sorts – very nice scent. On inhale I found the O.B creamy & it did actually taste like a sponge cake & if you’re from the UK (not sure if it’s sold in the US), the closest match in flavour for me would be to compare it to an angel cake & then with high notes of  a yumyum. I found the O.B the most complex in flavour out of all 5 of the blends I tested & still the hardest in terms of explaining the flavour. On exhale it left a creamy, custardy taste in my mouth just like the previous but also a “cakey” taste. Throat hit was very smooth & vapour production was great with a carrying aroma that was superb – really nice aroma. Would I purchase the O.B again? Yes I would because it really is “original”, never had a blend like this before & it’s a good dessert, gourmet collection blend. Could the O.B be an all day vape? No, not for me because after a while it does become a bit too much – but it’s very consistent in flavour no matter how long it’s vaped. On a scale from 1 to 10 the O.B gets a 7.

SUCKERPUNCH REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 2 days

Equipment: Joyetech eVic Supreme, SvoeMesto KayFun 3.1, Kanthal A1 (28g) 8 Wraps – 1.1ohm @ 19.4 Watts, Japanese Organic Cotton

Perfect name for this gourmet blend – PERFECT! On opening the bottle there’s a slight candy/fruity type aroma that was very pleasant & being the last in the batch I tried I must say that it’s just “industry standard” for Suicide Bunny to create great smelling e-liquids. On inhale my taste buds were hit with an array of flavours from blueberry or bilberry to like a cranberry or raspberry (I think) – kind of like an exquisite fruits of the forest “punch” type complexity with hints of a red berry mixture. Just as creamy & perfectly sweet like the others but I noticed the flavours didn’t stay in the mouth like the others, meaning as soon as I vaped & got that blast of flavour – it was gone. The creaminess however stayed in the mouth as did the sweetness which really appealed to me. Throat hit was very smooth with terrific vapour clouds that smelt great. Would I purchase the Suckerpunch again? Yes & I have already – it’s my favorite fruity type blend thus far. Could the Suckerpunch be an all day vape? Yes, very much so, I just wish the flavours had more longevity to it on the inhales but I just can’t fault this blend & I’m sure existing users feel the same. On a scale from 1 to 10 the Suckerpunch gets an 8 – Peaking 9!

OVERALL OPINIONS:
I think Suicide Bunny have put a lot of thought in to their blends & from what I understand they keep their gourmet menu limited (please correct me if I’m wrong) which IMO is why they have such a consistent collection that so far (in terms of gourmet) is unrivalled. Suicide Bunny blends are however for dessert type, sweet toothed vapers & those that like their blends to be more on the smooth side than on the rough, robust side. Their blend’s won’t be for everybody but for those it does attract, they’ll be very happy, satisfied & not feel like they just paid for a lovely label. Personally I’ll be keeping an eye out for Suicide Bunny & I can’t wait to see what other creations they (Pip) come up with.

Dessert vapers – give these blends a go, very good quality stuff!

Royal Vapor: Mystic Juice Review

The Mystic line of e-liquids are produced by Royal Vapor, a company operated by Evaporuk based in the UK. For this review I purchased a selection from their tobacco line (not direct from the vendor). I haven’t actually heard much about this vendor on the forums or online – but the reviews I have seen were pretty good which peaked my curiosity on my search for the best the industry has to offer.

For this review i used the Joyetech Delta 23 on an eVic Supreme with all the blends.

VENDORS: If you would like more of your liquids reviewed, please contact me via email: chris@inojuice.eu

RY4 SPECIAL REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 4 Days
Received: This item was purchased by me
Equipment: Joyetech eVic Supreme, Joyetech Delta 23, Joyetech C3 triple coil atomizer 1.4ohm @ 17 Watts

Those that know me know that I do like RY4 blends very much & when I taste a RY4 blend I don’t like I make it very clear. Obviously I haven’t tried every single RY4 variation on the market & nobody can say “this vendor does the best” but so far the best RY4 I’ve had the pleasure of vaping resides from a vendor in Cyprus & the worst from a manufacturer/s in China. That being said I was looking forward to this blend quite a bit simply because of the “special” statement at the end of the title. When I opened the bottle the aroma was very distinct, sweet & quite strong – this is definitely a tobacco blend with a slightly thick viscosity to what I usually vape but from what i’ve read this is a 60% VG blend. On inhale there’s a “dark” kentucky type tobacco taste – not heavy & then on the top end the caramel hits you, not a creamy caramel but more like a kind of caramel syrup which isn’t overly sweet & I think the sweetness it does have compliments the blend superbly. I didn’t taste any vanilla which I would have expected from a RY4 blend but I suppose the other variation of RY4 Royal Vapor have would provide that. The flavour was consistent & never degraded the 4 days I was vaping it. On exhale the tobacco taste dissipates & you’re left with the caramel taste in your mouth that also sweetens the aroma of the vapour. Throat hit was surprisingly satisfying for a 60% VG blend which was also consistent each & every time. Vapour production was superb on the Delta! The RY4 Special gets in my top 5 RY4 variations I’ve tried to date & definitely gets a thumbs up. Would I purchase the RY4 Special again? Yes I would – very nice blend & if you’re in to RY4’s like me you won’t be disappointed. Could the RY4 Special be an all day vape? Yes it could – all day! On a scale from 1 to 10 I give this blend an 8 & I’ll also add that so far 1 of the best I’ve tried from a UK vendor – I’m curious to try their RY4 “M” blend.

BABYLON REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 3 Day
Received: This item was purchased by me
Equipment: Joyetech eVic Supreme, Joyetech Delta 23, Joyetech C3 triple coil atomizer 1.4ohm @ 15.5 Watts

Another blend I was looking forward to testing was the Babylon which is a coffee / tobacco blend & I do like coffee blends. Aroma has that strong “fresh” coffee ground smell to it but I couldn’t smell any instances of tobacco but then coffee is good at masking most smells. From the first inhale I absolutely fell in love with this blend which I found had a great complexity & much superior to other coffee/tobacco blends I’ve tried. The first flavour I tasted would be comparable to a slightly sweetened freshly prepared espresso & then high notes of a slight “golden” nuttiness which I couldn’t tell was from the tobacco because again, in flavour all I was getting was coffee but there was something else there which was consistent with every vape. On exhale the coffee taste still comes through but leaves a slight creaminess in the mouth & is 1 of the reasons I think this blend is superb when actually drinking a cappuccino or latte. Throat hit I found to be very mild & even though I prefer blends that provide a kick, the flavour just simply compensates! Vapour production was fantastic & the aroma carried in the vapor was pleasant & fragrant. Would I purchase the Babylon again? Yes I would – best coffee/tobacco blend I’ve tried to date. Could the Babylon be an all day vape? No it couldn’t – not for me anyway! I’d rather use a blend like this when I’m actually drinking a type of coffee to enhance the enjoyment even more. On a scale from 1 to 10 the Babylon gets an 8 & the reason it gets an 8 & not a 10 is because I need to leave the window open just in case another coffee blend “rocks my taste buds”. Well done on this blend!

ROYAL FIVE REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 3 Days
Received: This item was purchased by me
Equipment: Joyetech eVic Supreme, Joyetech Delta 23, Joyetech C3 triple coil atomizer 1.4ohm @ 18 Watts

Recreating an authentic tobacco taste is 1 of the hardest feats an e-liquid manufacturer faces & to date I’ve only ever tasted 1 that I believe is a true representation in both taste & character which you’ll find that blend in another review within this blog. From my understanding that kind of flavour profile is what the Royal Five tries to create & if that’s the case unfortunately it hasn’t accomplished it. What it has accomplished is an incredibly bold & tasty tobacco blend which in my opinion sure beats the taste of a stinking cigarette! On inhale the flavour (to me) is a cross between a virginian & a 555 tobacco (those that like 555 I think will enjoy this). I also get top notes of what tastes a little bit like hazelnuts but only just slightly – definitely nutty though which I love in tobacco blends & the sweetness was only just noticeable. On exhale through the mouth there’s a slight nuttiness which becomes stronger if you exhale through your nose – very yummy. Throat hit was perfect & provides the kind of kick I look for in a vape. Vapour production was just as good as the others & the aroma carried by the vapour was like a caramelized – nutty type aroma, nothing that reminded me of tobacco. Would I purchase the Royal Five again? Maybe but I think this would be perfect for a 555 vaper or those looking for a nuttiness in their tobacco blends. Could the Royal Five be an all day vape? Yes it could – very easily although I did find it a little drying on the throat. On a scale from 1 to 10 the Royal Five gets a 7.

RED PASSION REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 1 day
Received: This item was purchased by me
Equipment: Joyetech eVic Supreme, Joyetech Delta 23, Joyetech C3 triple coil atomizer 1.4ohm @ 15 Watts

The Red Passion from what I’ve read on the vendor’s website is their version of an old, dry american type tobacco blend & truth be told, I really dislike dry tobacco blends! So already I knew the testing wouldn’t go down well with me but what enhanced my pre-negativity was when I opened the bottle because the aroma was (to put it kindly) strange! It had none of the traits I recognize in a tobacco blend like earthy, nutty or woody notes but whatever it was, it was strong. On inhale I found no sweet notes, just an extremely dry tobacco which tasted nothing like it smelt like so I guess that’s a plus. In terms of flavour I would compare it to perique blends or dry, rolling tobacco types & there’s not much else to compare it to – I would definitely recommend this to a new vaper making the switch from analogs because it does retain certain aspects of traditional cigarettes although I just can’t see a long term vaper using the Red Passion as a daily choice. On exhale the flavour & “scent” diminishes which again is a plus for me because I really didn’t like the smell of the liquid. Throat hit provided was robust & consistent which is the main thing I liked about this blend – provides a good kick at the back of the throat. Vapour production was superb & just as good as the others I’ve tested – I also noticed not much of a carrying aroma from within the vapour which again is a plus because I think the scent of the liquid would offend some if clouds of the stuff got blown in to their face – so in a brief summary: a VERY dry tobacco blend that doesn’t taste like it smells – would suit a newbie that wants a no nonsense, straight forward tobacco blend to make the initial switch BUT not a blend for the more “advanced” vaper IMO. Would I purchase the Red Passion again? No I wouldn’t & I think the review explains why. Could this be an all day vape? I just about managed a day testing & I couldn’t vape anymore so for me that’s a big NO. On a scale from 1 to 10 the Red Passion gets a 3. Actually I would recommend to the vendor scrapping this blend completely because I think it just ruins the status of the tobacco line altogether which from the ones I tested I thought were absolutely superb – it’s a shame! Although after reading some of the reviews on the vendor’s website it looks like some people love the stuff…. It’s a strange, old vaping world!

ARRAKIS REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 4 days
Received: This item was purchased by me
Equipment: Joyetech eVic Supreme, Joyetech Delta 23, Joyetech C3 triple coil atomizer 1.4ohm @ 19 Watts

IMO the Arrakis blend is the superstar from the 5 I tested & the most complex blend! I really enjoyed this one & found it to be highly consistent. The aroma is spicy & fragrant comparable to a premium turkish tobacco of which is what it reminded me of on inhale. Spicy on the throat with slight notes of coffee & a nuttiness on the top end then undertones of either a bourbon or top shelf cognac – this really is a gentleman’s vape & absolutely delicious. I’ve only ever experienced a blend like this from 1 other vendor which a review has been posted in this blog. To summarize as easily as possible, the Arrakis is a gourmet, Turkish type fragrant, nutty & spicy tobacco blend with undertones of either bourbon or cognac. Throat hit was spicy & consistent with every inhale & provides the perfect kick IMO. Vapor production was superb with an incredible, pleasant aroma carried within the clouds. Would I purchase the Arrakis again? Yes I would without a doubt, I love blends like this because it goes to show just how pleasurable vaping can be. Could this be an all day vape? Yes & I’m saddened I’ve ran out of the stuff. This IMO is the shining star of the whole tobacco line even though I haven’t tried them all but experience tells me there’s nothing else like this in their arsenal. On a scale from 1 to 10 the Arrakis gets a 10 with a cherry on top – a superb creation!

OVERALL OPINIONS:
From a price to quality standpoint, Royal Vapor have got their game in check because even though I would class their blends as good as – if not better than higher priced “premium” blends, they’re not trying to cash in on their products by selling them at ridiculous prices (like some vendors do), although from what I’ve tasted so far (apart from the Red Passion) even £20 - £22 for 30ml would be worth it. I wouldn’t mind trying some of their other blends for review so – a message to Royal Vapor: get in touch with me (email above).

Robo Fuel: Space Jam Review

Space Jam Robo Fuel e-liquids have been getting more & more positive attention on the forums & by fellow reviewers - so when I was given the opportunity to do this review I jumped at the chance. The bottles I received were not from the manufacturer but from a UK vendor. The manufacturer are an American company based in Orange Country, California with all their mixtures being “space” themed (which would be obvious by the name). From what I understand the manufacturer doesn’t actually have a website that sell their products, just advertise them – they distribute their blends to vendors, although I could be wrong & if I am someone please notify me & I’ll make adjustments here. For the whole review i used another device that was given to me (not by the vendor) which was the Joyetech eGrip which so far I think performs flawlessly.

ANDROMEDA REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 3 Days
Received: This item for given to me for review (not by the manufacturer)
Equipment: Joyetech eGrip, Joyetech eGrip Atomizer 1.5ohm @ 14 Watts

The first blend I spent some time with was the Andromeda. On opening the bottle I was greeted to the most delightful berry aroma which wasn’t overpowering or too light which I’ve noticed is quite common with berry mixes – either they’re too strong or you just about get the scent. On inhale I got delicious flavor I really did – reminded me of a red berry mix more than the blueberry it was meant to represent although slowly during the day the blueberry came through more & became distinguishable.  A perfectly mild vape with creamy undertones which surprised me considering berry mixes tend to be dry! Another plus for this was the sweetness which catches you on the high notes during inhale – again I found it perfect. On exhale the “berry” flavour stays in the mouth but I noticed after a day of vaping the Andromeda there was some sourness – my guess would be that this could be from the pomegranate flavouring. Throat hit was medium/mild meaning there was a slight kick with every inhale but not the sort of TH I usually look for in a personal vape. Vapour production was….. well the eGrip I was using produced some unbelievable clouds comparable to some RDAs I use that carried a fruity, sweet-ish aroma that was pleasant to myself & those around me. Would I purchase the Andromeda blend? Yes I probably would, apart from the TH I really did enjoy those days of testing. Could this be an all day vape? Yes very easily, especially for a vaper that loves their berry type blends. On a scale from 1 to 10 the Andromeda gets a 7.

ECLIPSE REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 1 Day
Received: This item for given to me for review (not by the manufacturer)
Equipment: Joyetech eGrip, Joyetech eGrip Atomizer 1.5ohm @ 12 – 14 Watts

The very first thing I noticed when I opened the Eclipse was a very strong vanilla aroma & that was it – all I could smell was vanilla which would’ve been fine if it was JUST a vanilla blend. The thing is this is supposed to be a tobacco blend & the main elements should stem from that – meaning I was expecting a nutty, tobacco type aroma with just “hints” of vanilla. Which goes to show (me) not to judge a juice  by its scent because I was – again pleasantly surprised. On inhale there’s definitely a golden nutty, tobacco presence with satisfying undertones of what reminded me like  vanilla ice cream - & I did find this slightly creamy but then over the day I found that it did dry my throat quite a bit. Slight sweetness but only just noticeable on the top end which IMO is how a tobacco type blend should be unless aiming for more of a sweet mixture like a RY4 – all in all a full bodied, robust vape. Throat hit was superb & consistent – a little spicy but I think the vanilla takes some of the spiciness away. Vapour production was quality on the eGrip & definitely leaves a vanilla ice cream type aroma behind. To summarize the flavor simply, I found it to be like a nutty vanilla ice cream – of sorts!
Would I purchase this blend again? No I wouldn’t because it’s not the kind of flavour profile I look for in a personal vape but it was a good vape. Could the Eclipse be an all day vape? Yes if the flavour profile I described is your type of blend – go for it, you won’t be disappointed I’m sure. On a scale from 1 to 10 the Eclipse gets a 6.

PLUTO REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 3 Days
Received: This item for given to me for review (not by the manufacturer)
Equipment: Joyetech eGrip, Joyetech eGrip Atomizer 1.5ohm @ 14 Watts -/+

I knew when I first opened the Pluto it was going to be the most complex blend out of the 5 & describing the aroma is a little difficult so  let’s get straight to the good parts. On inhale there’s a blast of flavours & I do mean a BLAST! the complexity really kicks in here because  apart from the slight cooling on the throat from the mint – the watermelon is fresh, the cantaloupe is fragrant & the bubble gum just sweetens the whole experience. I’m not sure how this blend was created or what these guys were thinking when they did it – but it came out quite good & I’ve said it plenty of times I’m no fan of mint blends & I’m not sure what Pluto would fall under – be it a fruit, sweet or mint vape because even though it’s surprisingly good, I wouldn’t call this a gourmet blend because I do feel flavours were just thrown together hoping for the best – but that’s just my opinion!. Throat hit for me was cool & mild because of the mint. Vapour production was quality & the aroma left behind was delicious – very nice indeed. I’m not sure what type of vaper I would recommend this to even though I was vaping it for 3 days straight but I would definitely recommend it to a vapour that likes a change from the usual & wants something unusual (best way I can put it). Would I purchase the Pluto? Maybe… Yes but for the reason I just said. Could this be an all day vape? Yes I believe it could be, I was vaping this quite a bit & didn’t feel the need to switch up – BUT on a scale from 1 to 10 the Pluto gets a 5 & that’s simply because I’m still not sure exactly what I feel about it – it’s very complex! Try it if you want something that’s fresh, fruity & sweet.

OMEGA REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 4 days
Received: This item for given to me for review (not by the manufacturer)
Equipment: Joyetech eGrip, Joyetech eGrip Atomizer 1.4ohm

The Omega is a blend a fellow reviewer advised me to give a try before I even received the samples & he has a pretty good palate when it comes to flavours! On opening the bottle there’s a fresh, crisp peachy aroma which I found quite strong truth be told but then you know straight away what the Omega’s about. On inhale the peach flavouring is “in your face” with slightly sweet, creamy notes on the top end – all in all there’s really no better way to describe it because it’s a peach blend, not a candied peach because it does mimic the freshness of a real peach to some extent but I found the creaminess does make it a little candy like on the exhale but don’t mistake it for a sweet blend because it’s not. The Omega has no complexity like the rest of the blends I reviewed – it is what it is!. Throat hit was satisfying & consistent with every vape & vapour production was great with a pleasant aroma that definitely lets those around you know it’s a peach blend. From all the peach blends I’ve tried to date, the Omega would be in my top 5! Would I purchase the Omega? No I wouldn’t because I’ve had better blends of this kind but don’t let that put you off because it is in my top 5. Could this be an all day vape? Yes it could & will definitely attract those that like a blend that closely matches the real thing. On a scale from 1 to 10 the Omega gets a 5 – not bad, not bad at all!

GALACTICA REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 3/+ days
Received: This item for given to me for review (not by the manufacturer)
Equipment: Joyetech eGrip, Joyetech eGrip Atomizer 1.5ohm

I got through 30ml of Galactica in just over 3 days which for me (& most) is quite a bit especially when not dripping. The aroma released from a freshly opened bottle is exquisite! The flavour profile itself has such a complexity it leaves questions in your head. Now I know from the manufacturer’s description this is a strawberry & champagne blend but I think it’s so much more & without a doubt a perfect combination although I have had a similar blend from another vendor & without naming names I’ll give a little clue – he & his wife produce gourmet blends, he’s grimm, he’s green & he’s on Youtube :)
On inhale the strawberry is clear, slightly sweet, extremely light & fresh, not candied like most strawberry blends out there & the reason for this I think is because it has the same concept as the real thing – the champagne enhances the sweetness of the strawberry & vice versa. The blend itself is of course not carbonated but it definitely has that bubbly lightness about it a glass of champagne would give you. I found Galactica an “almost” true representation of the flavour profile it tried to recreate – but not perfect! On exhale the strawberry flavour & scent dissipated leaving a slight dryness at the back of my throat which I suppose again mimics the champagne (but then I was vaping heavily on this). Throat hit was medium/mild with the strawberry flavouring providing the most kick & vapour production was perfect on the eGrip that leaves a nice aroma behind, not strawberries but a nice, slightly sweet aroma that’s not offending. Would I purchase the Galactica? Yes. Could this be an all day vape? Yes it could but be warned it may dry your throat. On a scale from 1 to 10 the Galactica gets an 8.

OVERALL OPINIONS:
This manufacturer have created a top notch selection of gourmet type blends IMO but I feel the labeling ruins the whole line. The labeling itself is very “childish” which I think is very dangerous with how rocky things are in the vaping world at the moment & i think it's things like this lobbyists against vaping use to get their bullshit voice across (excuse my language)! I also I feel it’s the kind of packaging a minor would be attracted to – not an adult! These blends are very good so why not create more adult like – elegant labeling? It’s not hard is it. From a price stand point I think it’s worth it although prices I’m sure will vary from vendor to vendor & from what I’ve seen, Space Jam e-liquids are almost everywhere now so give them a try. 1 blend I have on order is the Venus which I’ve heard good things about & will update in this review in the future.
