Stella Blues Vapor Premium Review

I've been looking forward to this review for a few weeks & was VERY excited when my 4 samples (provided by the ever-so nice John from SBV) finally arrived. Stella Blues Vapor is a family run company located in Missouri, US with a slogan "the proof is in the juice" that attracted me to them in the first place. There's plenty of review coverage on social networks & i'm sure you (my readers) have already heard & read quite a bit in regards to the vendor.

I visited the SBV website for a little more background information about their blends - here's a small exerpt:

("Our custom vapor juices are made in-house using only the highest quality FDA approved ingredients.   After several years we have perfected just the perfect amount of pg/vg, flavorings and sweeteners. Our e-liquid are bottled after each and every order not massed produced and sitting on shelves. This insures that your e juice is as fresh as can be. All our e-juices are made and stored in dark glass containers, then allowed to steep for several days.")

Which i like the sound of & i personally like supporting family run businesses because (IMO) the fact is they pay more attention to their products, customers & how they present themselves - & they don't take crap from customers that just like being rude for the hell of it no matter how nice you are to them - (i'm all to familiar with this from previous ventures i was involved in).

So far so good - but lets get down to the review & see if the proof really IS in the juice.

For this review & for all blends i used the Joyetech eGrip with the eGrip CS Rebuildable deck & Joyetech's pre wound coils rated @ 1.2ohms & Organic Japanese Cotton.

Off subject a little:
I've had a few of my readers message me asking why i use this set up for some reviews i've made & to clear things up - my answer has been - unless you try it, don't knock it. I've got some expensive RDAs & RBAs (**which i stupidly purchased after watching a few YouTube reviews - no names**) that don't come close to this set up especially in flavour. I could've purchased 2 eGrips & 4 CS Bases with 1 of those RDAs i have & i really wish i did & without advertising Joyetech, lately they're coming out with winners compared to the toys they previously released. I will say that the CS atomizers that originally came with the eGrip SUCK! They produce good vapour but no flavour & those that think they do - wait till you try the CS deck - it's like a mini Kayfun (which i love) & when you build a Kayfun or Russian properly - even some clones i've tried, the flavour comes through superbly!

Please note:
When making a review of vendor products, you usually get an idea after testing a few liquids the quality & dynamic of their production processes. Because of this i choose 5 liquids to review. If a vendor has more than 1 line of e-liquid (such as standard & premium) i will review 5 from each. Any e-liquids that say IN TESTING or AWAITING REVIEW/DELIVERY next to the title will be updated in due time. I like to take my time with a product which is usually a week but sometimes it could be more & sometimes less. These reviews are my own opinions & the score i give each is my own preference score. A rating of 7 for me might be a 10 for you. 10 for me is the perfect vape in flavour complexity, vapour production & throat hit on any & every device i try it on.

JOHNNY BLACK REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 2 Days
Received: This item was provided by the vendor for review
Equipment: Joyetech eGrip, Joyetech eGrip CS RBA, Joyetech pre wound coil 1.2ohm @ 14+ Watts, Japanese Organic Cotton

Boy was i HAPPY with this little treasure! Johnny Black is Stella Blues representation of a blackberry cobbler with ice cream which is a first for me as a flavour profile & the aroma i could smell on opening the bottle made me salivate a little (i know - disgusting). The aroma is very sweet, bold & definitely fruity although my nostrils just couldn't smell the blackberry - but then i've never actually eaten a blackberry cobbler before let alone smelled one.

On inhale - i can imagine that my pupils dilated a little by the blast of pure, clean & thick flavours that hit my taste buds & which i found extremely tasty. The blend itself is slighlty complex & beautifully crafted (well done Jesse)! The first flavour profiles i could taste were more or less a mix between a vanilla & strange as it sounds, i could taste raspberry because for some reason my brain kept telling me "raspberry ripple ice cream". As the vape progresses it becomes almost creamy which its at that point - during the high notes i started to distiguish the blackberry from the blend. On exhale i could definitely taste the "dessert" aspects which was a mix of the vanilla, blackberry & another flavour i just couldn't nail down - but i also found it very "pastry" like which i suppose makes sense. I vaped this blend HARD & during that time the flavours were consistent, i never had any dryness of the mouth & i can't believe i've ran out after saying to myself to save some. Throat hit was perfect for me - meaning it was a touch above being mild & not too smooth but of course at a lower nicotine level that would be a different story. Vapour production i found quite thick & dense with a very pleasant & mildly sweet, fruity carrying aroma! - Without exaggeration, i was even asked what i was cooking & after i said "nothing, it's the juice" i was called a vook - a vaper that likes to cook (i think)! So from this day forth, i claim #vook & #vookers & thank SBV for that :D

Would I purchase Johnny Black?
Who wouldn't?... I can't imagine many vapers disliking Johnny Black. Even those that tend to stay away from fruity blends - you won't feel like you just wasted your cash & will probably feel like i did once you run out.

Could Johnny Black be an all day vape?
All day - every day! as i wrote before, the flavours remained consistent during the period of testing with absolutely no dryness of the mouth - that to me = an all day vape!

On a scale from 1 to 10 Johnny Black gets a 9, HIGHLY peaking 10.

DEZERTED REVIEW: 6mg

Testing Period: 1 - 2hrs
Received: This item was provided by the vendor for review
Equipment: Joyetech eGrip, Joyetech eGrip CS RBA, Joyetech pre wound coil 1.2ohm @ 14+ Watts, Japanese Organic Cotton.

Second in line for testing was Dezerted. Dezerted is described as a vanilla ice cream with a sweet & salty caramel sauce "type" blend - yummy! The aroma when i opened the bottle was of a VERY rich vanilla, almost "cognac" like - (those that have it, give it a good smell & tell me i'm wrong) - either way it smelled delicious.

On inhale i give credits to SBV because they nailed their description for this blend straight on the head! Thick & consistent vanilla lows that morph in to a kind of "savoury" caramel (if that makes sense). The sweetness wasn't too much which i think would've made Dezerted a little sickening after a while so that's a plus for me & not that i would call it salty, but there was definitely that neutral taste on the tip of my tongue. There's also an overall creaminess with this blend that stays in the mouth through & through. On exhale i found the vanilla ice cream & caramel become more distinguishable as a mix & the caramel flavouring seemed to linger on my taste buds during breaks.

Throat hit was not enough for me & i found it quite smooth which i expect the remaining 2 will also be the same at 6mg. Vapour production was quality with a very pleasant carrying aroma.

Would I purchase Dezerted?
No i wouldn't because it's not for me although SBV have themselves a lovely little blend here & i'm sure it's a winner with quite a few vapers.

Could Dezerted be an all day vape?
I think it could be because the sweetness was perfectly balanced with the neutral aspects i noticed & the descriptions given on their website i found very accurate so a vaper looking for that kind of flavour profile would most probably use Dezerted as an all day selection.

On a scale from 1 to 10 Dezerted gets a 7

FRUITACIOUS REVIEW: 6mg

Testing Period: 1 - 2hrs
Received: This item was provided by the vendor for review.
Equipment: Joyetech eGrip, Joyetech eGrip CS RBA, Joyetech pre wound coil 1.2ohm @ 14+ Watts, Japanese Organic Cotton.

Third in line for testing was Fruitacious & before i even opened the bottle i had a quick look on SBVs website to see a description which i have to excerpt here:

(Dive into this fruity milky whirlwind of intensity! We hath left no pebble behind!! Truly an exquisite vape, an all day vape, if you will!)

The aroma when i opened the bottle had a sweetish, cantaloupe (honey dew) - almost citrusy type smell that i found extremely pleasant & i'm not sure there's a better way to describe it even after a deep sniffing session (that doesn't sound right). On inhale i found Fruitacious extremely complex because i could taste flavours i'm not sure are even in the blend - but this is what i did get. The first flavours i could taste would be a cantaloupe/watermelon (& dare i say mango) type mix that develop in to an almost berry/peachy flavour profile. i found it very creamy with mildly sweet characteristics that compliment the blend overall. On the high notes i could taste a fizzy, citrusy, lemony type flavour & also slight hints of coconut. Fruitacious reminds me of a type of candy i used to eat when i was younger for some reason which i found quite nice.

Throat hit i found ok for a 6mg due to the citrusy aspects although 12mg would've satisfied me perfectly i believe. Vapour production was great with a sublime carrying aroma - a VERY nice fruity, candy like aroma.

Would I purchase Fruitacious?
The nostalgic values i associate with this blend would probably make me purchase it - besides, it's a very nice, complex fruity blend that keeps you guessing.

Could Fruitacious be an all day vape?
Not for me although it would definitely be a "go-to" blend on occasions.

On a scale from 1 to 10 Fruitacious gets a 7

CARAZEL BACCO REVIEW: 6mg

Testing Period: 1 - 2hrs
Received: This item was provided by the vendor for review.
Equipment: Joyetech eGrip, Joyetech eGrip CS RBA, Joyetech pre wound coil 1.2ohm @ 14+ Watts, Japanese Organic Cotton.

Carazel Bacco i'm guessing is SBVs take on a "kind of" RY4 blend (without vanilla) & is described as a creamy caramel & hazelnut-tobacco blend which appealed to me straight away because not only do i love a GOOD RY4, i'm very fond of hazelnut so the mix just made perfect sense to me. The aroma when i opened the bottle was pleasant. I could definitely smell the distinct tobacco aspects with high notes of the hazelnut which was subtle & not overpowering (hazelnut can be VERY strong - even if small amounts of the flavouring gets used) - at that point i couldn't smell any caramel or even hints of it.

On inhale i was glad i left this blend at the back of the line for testing because as far as i'm concerned, i've saved the best for last! Carazel Bacco has now become my TOP RY4 type blend. Most flavours are layered & clearly distinguishable - starting with a sweet, nutty & mild - almost virginia type tobacco flavour profile that i found deliciously robust & not at all dry. From here another flavour starts to develop & again i couldn't taste the caramel but i never took that as a negative because i think the hazelnut is what masks the caramel flavour - instead i was left with sweet hazelnut high notes with a creaminess that coated my mouth. The flavour IMO is on par with a hazelnut brittle candy & the toabcco aspects add a little spiciness to the mix. On exhale is where things started to change for me, this is where i could start tasting caramel! only slightly but it was definitely there & both the sweetness & creaminess remained coating my mouth. Just like the previous 3 - this blend didn't cause any dryness.

Throat hit was not nice for me because it just wasn't strong enough being 6mg, but at 6mg Carazel Bacco is very smooth. Vapour production - just like all of the blends was superb with the most delicious carrying aroma that is sweet with a slight bakery type smell (if that makes sense) - nothing like a tobacco blend, or what the blend itself smells like when i opened the bottle & doesn't smell like any other RY4 type blend i've tried to date.

Would I purchase Carazel Bacco?
Yes i would & i urge RY4 type lovers that like a little twist - give this blend a try.

Could Carazel Bacco be an all day vape?
I'm certain it could be - not at 6mg though (for me)

On a scale from 1 to 10 Carazel Bacco gets a 10

(SBV give yourselves a pat on the back because i'm ruthless when it comes to this type of blend- WELL DONE & how i wish it was 12mg).

OVERALL OPINIONS
Where do i start! - Well, i've had an absolutely vapetastic time testing SBV's blends & i really wish all the blends i had for testing were 12mg in nicotine strength. I found them all to be extremly consistent - full of flavour & "boderline" complex which is a good thing IMO - sometimes when blends are too complex it just ruins it & i could name a few here but just read some of my other reviews & i'm sure you'll get the point. My absolute favourites where Johnny Black & Carazel Bacco (my new TOP RY4 blend) with the rest being above average gourmet blends although i really don't have a bad word to say about them & that's an honest opinion - this IS an unbiased review & my readers know i say it how it is - well done SBV! - highly recommended!

Five Pawns: Mixology Sample Pack

In my previous review of the Five Pawns Signature sample pack i was somewhat pleased with the testing outcome although i had higher hopes for the Mixology selection which has finally been delivered. I won't be adding the usual information here because this review is basically an extention to the last - so if you haven't read my previous review on the Signature sample pack, have a quick read by clicking Here

For this review & for all blends i used an authentic SvoeMesto Kayfun 3.1 on the eVic Supreme with 28g Kanthal A1 Wire (8 Wraps) 1/1.2ohm @ 14-15.5 Watts with Organic Japanese Cotton.

LUCENA REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 4 - 8 Hrs
Received: This item was gifted to me
Equipment: SvoeMesto Kayfun 3.1 on the eVic Supreme with 28g Kanthal A1 Wire (8 Wraps) 1/1.2ohm @ 14-15.5 Watts with Organic Japanese Cotton

The first in line for this review would be Lucena. Five Pawns's description for this blend is as follows: "Spiced rum mixed with a juicy, clingstone white peach, creating the flavor harmony of a fruit cobbler with a savory reduction sauce, garnished by freshly shaved hazelnut". Ok, well that made me dribble a little bit after reading & boy do these guys make splendid product descriptions. The aroma when i opened the bottle was intense with a variation of scent profiles which would match their description.

On inhale the Lucena became the most complex "fruity" gourmet type vapes that i've tried thus far. The mix between the rum (which i found had the same spiciness & flavour profile a dark, jamaican rum beverage has) & peach work together flawlessly with an overall mild sweetness. The peach is crisp & clean on the Kayfun & layered with an almost fresh, pure type hazelnut flavour which is more noticeable as a high note & was consistent during my short testing period. On every exhale i could taste an almost bourbon type flavour which really suprised me & the peachiness flavouring i found remained in my mouth. I didn't find this blend creamy in any way but every vape was fresh & full of flavour which didn't diminish in any way. Throat hit was perfect for me & the inherent spiciness of this blend i feel adds to the kick. Vapour production was good with a sweet & fruity carrying aroma - very pleasantly surprised & i would recommend Lucena to peach lovers looking for a change from a basic peach blend.

Would I purchase Lucena?
Yes i would but that's because i am quite fond of peach blends & the fusion of rum tops it off for me.

Could Lucena be an all day vape?
Yes it could be for vapers that appreciate the flavour profile Lucena provides.

On a scale from 1 to 10 Lucena gets an 8

CASTLE LONG REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 4 - 8 Hrs
Received: This item was gifted to me
Equipment: SvoeMesto Kayfun 3.1 on the eVic Supreme with 28g Kanthal A1 Wire (8 Wraps) 1/1.2ohm @ 14-15.5 Watts with Organic Japanese Cotton

I've seen so much review coverage regarding Castle Long & the Castle Long Reserve blends, but at the end of the day we (vapers) all taste things differently. Five Pawns's flavour description on this one again sounds tempting & is essentially a bourbon, coconut, almond, vanilla & brown sugar type mix. The aroma is almost sweet & i could definitely smell hints of the almond above the bourbon but that was about it.

On inhale, consistently i could taste 3 layers of flavouring, of those being a mildly sweet - jim beam type bourbon undertone which then develops in to a crisp almond flavour, which then transforms in to a creamy, almost velvety vanilla on the high notes. I couldn't taste the coconut but then i think the mix of the almond & coconut together is what makes me feel like i'm vaping an alcoholic macaroon which IMO is exactly what the Castle Long tastes like & is what i absolutely love about this blend. On exhale the bourbon undertones remain quite strong along with the mild sweetness. I found there was a slight creaminess left behind & the vanilla seemed to come through a little more by sticking to my taste buds. Castle Long for me became an instant favourite & goes in my top picks for one of the best blends on the market today & a blend i would happily hand my hard earned cash over for. Throat hit i found mild but extremely satisfying & vapour production was thick with a pleasant carrying aroma that smells a touch like (dare i say) vanilla ice cream.

Would I purchase Castle Long?
Yes without a doubt & i can't wait to try the reserve.

Could Castle Long be an all day vape?
Not for me! I found the Castle Long had somewhat relaxing properties & for that reason i would only use it in the evenings or while sipping on a good bourbon ;)

On a scale from 1 to 10 Castle Long gets a 9. It would be a clear 10 but i'm expecting the reserve will take that place.

PERPETUAL CHECK REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 4 - 8 Hrs
Received: This item was gifted to me
Equipment: SvoeMesto Kayfun 3.1 on the eVic Supreme with 28g Kanthal A1 Wire (8 Wraps) 1/1.2ohm @ 14-15.5 Watts with Organic Japanese Cotton

Third in line for this review was Perpetual Check & from here on end the flavour profiles become slightly more complex & it's the reason i left this & the remaining two for last. Perpetual Check is based on blackcurrant liqueur, lemon, fig, barley & cinnamon flavour profiles. The aroma i find a little hard to describe although you do get the blackcurrant & slight hints of the lemon coming through pretty well.

On inhale i was instantly hit with the refreshing, citrusy aspects of the lemon along (of course) with the unmistakable taste of the blackcurrant which the best way i can describe it had an almost dense flavour profile & what i mean by that was that it wasn't just blackcurrant - the mix (im guessing) of the fig created an almost bold, unique flavour that leaves you with little to go on in identifying each layer singly. The spiciness i found to be an all rounder & slight flavour of the cinnamon comes through on the high notes which i found to be a nice touch & in no way overpowering which we all know cinnamon can easily take over a blend if not implemented (added) with caution. I'm not too sure where the barley comes in but then again it could be why i found the blackcurrant flavour mix so bold. I got no hints that would push me to categorized Perpetual Check as a liqueur/beverage gourmet blend & although i've never actually tried blackcurrant liqueur before i'm sure the alcohol side of it would have come through - but not with this blend & for me it's a plus because i think going down that route would've made it less appealing to the average vaper in general. Throat hit i found had a nice kick to it & the citrusy side of the blend helps it along perfectly. Vapour production was lovely with, again - a pleasant & fruity carrying aroma.

Would I purchase Perpetual Check?
No i wouldn't but that's not to say i didn't enjoy the testing period quite a bit.

Could Perpetual Check be an all day vape?
For the right vaper that's looking for that kind of flavour profile then i can imagine it could be.

On a scale from 1 to 10 Perpetual Check gets a 7

FIFTH RANK REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 4 - 8 Hrs
Received: This item was gifted to me
Equipment: SvoeMesto Kayfun 3.1 on the eVic Supreme with 28g Kanthal A1 Wire (8 Wraps) 1/1.2ohm @ 14-15.5 Watts with Organic Japanese Cotton

Next in the review line is Fifth Rank & i was at split minds before even testing because one flavour i was immediately "put off" by was the horehound herb which i've had the displeasure of trying the actual herb before & found it so bitter that i wanted to vomit - & it smells! But i'm always up for trying something new especially when it comes to e-liquids. Fifth Rank's flavour profile (taken from the Five Pawns website) is a mix of horehound herb, sweet cream, vanilla, almond & a twist of lime. The aroma i found to be on par with a bavarian creme of sorts & i could smell both the almond & the lime instantly so from then on the testing started to look good.

On inhale what came through for me was a sweet & sour blend. I couldn't taste the horehound herb (thank god) although i'm almost certain that the sourness/bitterness is coming directly from the herb flavouring or extract. In terms of flavour what i tasted (for those of you that have tried it before) was an exact replication of a chinese almond cream dessert which tastes exactly the way it sounds. The almond, vanilla & cream i found worked together superbly & the flavour ratios (whatever they may be) for this blend are precise & compliment eachother perfectly. The citrusy high notes i personally felt were not really needed because it took my mind away from the flavour profile i related it to which confused my palate a little & confusion = a purchase once & not again blend IMO. On exhale i found the sweetness comes through just that little bit more which is a bonus & i was left with a creamy, almond taste in my mouth - that alone IMO makes this blend very moreish. Throat hit i found quite mild & vapour production was just as good as the previous 3 (which would be obvious) with a distinct vanilla "type" carrying aroma that was nice.

Would I purchase Fifth Rank?
No i wouldn't, it's not my cup of tea & i'm not sure what kind of vaper i would recommend this blend to although it's well worth at least a try i think.

Could Fifth Rank be an all day vape?
I don't think so, i couldn't see myself vaping Fifth Rank "all day" even if i had a larger bottle. It would be a now & then vape for me.

On a scale from 1 to 10 Fifth Rank gets a 7

SIXTY-FOUR REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: a few minutes
Received: This item was gifted to me
Equipment: SvoeMesto Kayfun 3.1 on the eVic Supreme with 28g Kanthal A1 Wire (8 Wraps) 1/1.2ohm @ 14-15.5 Watts with Organic Japanese Cotton

The last blend in this review is the Sixty-Four & i'm not too sure where to start with this one. I'm not sure if it's a "serious" blend or one of those unusual blends manufacturers sometimes come out with as a kind of marketing strategy. Sixty-four is a grapefruit liqueur, cognac, cucumber, lemon zest, mint & dill blend & i can honestly say before i even filled my tank up that it sounded like a hideous vape! i mean - come on! what vaper would actually purchase that kind of flavour profile let alone enjoy it? - but so far with the sample pack, so good! The aroma on opening the bottle i found to be extremely clean & somewhat refreshing - it almost actually reminded me of a cocktail, not exactly a mojito which is what i think the Sixty-Four is kind of meant to represent but definitely a cocktail type aroma.

On Inhale it REALLY didn't appeal to me in the slightest & i couldn't vape it for more than a few minutes unfortunately. I found the blend a touch bitter & dry. The flavours were more or less layered & the most prolific flavour being the cognac - but a bitter cognac & i think the grapefruit along with the lemon caused it. There was a slight mintiness but only just slightly & compliments the blend overall. I couldn't taste the cucumber extract/flavouring but i did find the blend quite a clean, citrusy & borderline refreshing vape which IMO would be down to those kind of ingredients. The dill fades in just a little on the high notes & i really didn't like that. On exhale i was left with a slight creamy, minty cognac flavour in my mouth but again i found it a touch too bitter for my tastes. Throat hit i found mild & slightly cooling & vapour production was great with a carrying aroma that smells better than the blend itself.

I feel that the Sixty-Four was a complete fail in regards to the sample pack profile although i can respect it as probably one of the most unusual gourmet blends i've tried (take that how you will) & of course - this is a sample pack with the intention of giving vapers a chance to sample the blends available & obviously not all blends will appeal to everyone & for me it was the Sixty-Four.

Would I purchase Sixty-Four?
Nooooo - I'd rather purchase a nice Lucena or Castle Long blend.

Could Sixty-Four be an all day vape?
Not for me. I couldn't even last 5 minutes but that's not to say there's not Sixty-Four vapers out there drying bottles on a daily!

On a scale from 1 to 10 Sixty-Four gets a 3

OVERALL OPINIONS:
After the testing i was actually very pleased that i reviewed the Signature SP first because without a doubt, the best was saved for last. I am absolutely blown away by some of the Mixology blends & compared to the Signature line (which wasn't bad in the slightest) is well worth every cent & then some. My favourite of all 5 being the Castle Long blend has pushed me to try the Castle Long Reserve & i can't wait & my least favourite being the Sixty-Four blend - ugh! The good news is that Five Pawns blends are available from quite a few reputable vendors internationally now compared to before so i HIGHLY recommend trying the Mixology line out & i can imagine current FP vapers swear by it.

Once i get my hands on a bottle of the Reserve i'll update it in this review but bare with me.

Vintage E-Liquid Premium Review

Vintage have really thought outside the box when it came to the design of their liquid containers & to date it's the most unique i've seen & completely reminds me of the Zippo lighter i used to use when i was a smoker (fantastic design). I also might add that i find the way i can just flick the lid open with one swipe superb.

Vintage is an e-liquid manufacturer based in the USA that wholesale to companies locally & internationally. I wanted to get a little more information regarding the company, processes etc so i visited their website which unfortunately doesn't give much information at all & the most interesting bit of information i did find was that they spent 2 years researching & creating their flavours. 2 Years for 6 flavours! - I'm sorry & i don't disbelieve that, but i would expect a vape experience somewhat on par with an orgasm as i'm sure any serious vaper that reads that would - So let's see if Vintage really have created something special.

The Vintage review was requested by my lovely subscribers & the blends were sent to me (Shout out time) by a good friend & fellow vaper from the UK so it would be a nice gesture if those that made the request send a "Thanks David" email via thanksdavid@inojuice.eu which i will then forward on to him :D

For this review & for all blends i used the Joyetech eGrip with the new eGrip  CS Rebuildable deck with Joyetech's pre wound coils (which i believe are 29g nichrome) rated @ 1.2ohms & Organic Japanese Cotton. (The flavour on this device with the new CS RBA is superb).

THE DREAMER REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 2 Days
Received: This item was given to me.
Equipment: Joyetech eGrip, Joyetech eGrip CS RBA, Joyetech pre wound coil 1.2ohm @ 14+ Watts, Japanese Organic Cotton.

The Dreamer is essentially a mixed fruit blend & from the Vintage website it says that it's comprised of strawberry, pineapple & peach. I've had blends before that fit the same flavour profile so i roughly knew what to expect although in some of those previous blends one flavour would take over the other leaving very little in terms of flavour recognition & i always find that it's the pineapple that's the culprit because it's one of those flavours where if the flavour percentages aren't correct then it comes through more than any other flavour - whatever that flavour may be IMO. The Dreamer's aroma i found sublime with all scent profiles working in symphony together. I could instantly recognise all the flavours with not one being stronger than the other & i couldn't wait to fill the eGrip.

On inhale the flavours become layered meaning that i didn't get a straight "mix" of flavours - rather i would taste each flavour independantly. Firstly i could taste an almost fresh type of pineapple flavour which during inhale would slowly morph in to a candied strawberry & then high notes of the peach (which i found very creamy & perfectly sweet) starts to shine through. On exhale things start to change & that's where i got hints of an overall mix between all flavours. I noticed a little spiciness on my tongue & i'm not sure where that comes from - maybe the pineapple (if that makes sense). Every vape was consistent in regards to flavour & basically what you read is what you get with The Dreamer. Throat hit i found VERY smooth - much smoother than other blends with the same PG/VG ratio which even at 12mg i felt like i was vaping a 6 maybe 8mg. Vapour production was superb with a pleasant carrying aroma - not fruity but pleasant.

Would I purchase The Dreamer?
No i wouldn't although the manufacturer's product description i found correct & true so if what i've written above sounds like your kind of vape then go for it - you won't be disappointed.

Could The Dreamer be an all day vape?
Yes it could be, very much so. Flavours are consistent & i got no excess dryness of the mouth.

On a scale from 1 to 10 The Dreamer gets a quality 8.

THE LEGEND REVIEW: 12mg

The third in line for this review is The Legend which from Vintage's website description is their variation of the popular RY4. RY4 is basically a tobacco, caramel & vanilla blend & as i've mentioned in previous reviews is actually my favourite type of tobacco e-liquid & i'm VERY fussy about it because there's only a handful of vendors so far that have produced a RY4 that's worthy of lining my lungs. The aroma from The Legend is ok, i could definitely smell the caramel & slight hints of vanilla. It's not the best RY4 i've got my nostrils around but that doesn't phase me because the proof is in the pudding & i couldn't wait to get stuck in.

From the first inhale i found The Legend incredibly luxurious & perfectly layered consistently just like The Dreamer. The first layer to excite my taste buds would be the creamy caramel which had a well balanced sweetness to it. From there an almost nutty, mild tobacco (almost comparable to the 555) flavour starts to develop which then leaves high notes of a madagascar vanilla type flavour & i could definitely taste something else although even after the whole bottle i couldn't nail it - it could be the mixture of all flavours working together although i'm not certain. The sweetness which is perfect IMO is there throughout the vape & doesn't diminish which is a big part of the profile i look for in a RY4 blend. On exhale the flavour of the caramel & vanilla stay in the mouth & the tobacco aspects fade out which i absolutely loved. The Legend goes straight in to my Top Picks & i highly recommend to all RY4 vapers. Throat hit was mild giving a slight "kick" to the back of my throat & vapour production was perfect with a sweet, candy type carrying aroma that's in no way offensive to "bystanders".

Would I purchase The Legend?
Definitely! I think Vintage have created a blend of beauty here & although the aroma when i first opened the container was ok, the testing period was thoroughly enjoyable - i wish David sent me a few more.

Could The Legend be an all day vape?
Yes it could be & i'd be SHOCKED if RY4 vapers don't find The Vintage a superior blend in both consistency & complexity - truly delicious!

On a scale from 1 to 10 The Legend gets a 10

THE LOVER REVIEW: 12mg

I'm a Scorpio so of course The Lover would appeal to me even before testing & the flavour profile being a trifecta of papaya, orange & guava described on the Vintage website made my tingly bits tingle more than usual. To be completely fair & honest though, i had absolutely no idea what papaya even tasted like but i'm very familiar with the other two flavours so i catagorized whatever flavour i could taste after being that of the papaya. The aroma was delightful & the scent of the orange & guava was crisp & clean which was all i could smell at that point.

On inhale i really appreciated the complexity & almost citrusy side of what i was vaping. Mildly sweet & full of flavour, the guava & orange i found equally present in flavour with high notes of what reminded me almost of "bubble gum" which is what i'm connecting with to the papaya. On exhale the guava seems to take over all the other flavours & leaves a kind of custardy taste behind with a slight "edge". The Lover is a great & almost unique mix of flavours that blend extremely well together. My only "gripe" would be an almost excessive dryness in my throat during the testing period & i'm not sure what to put that down to. Throat hit was smooth & mild - a bit too mild for me personally & vapour production was quality with a sweet & candy like carrying aroma.

Would I purchase The Lover?
I probably would make a personal purchase. I enjoyed the testing period & found the flavours consistent with every vape - very nice.

Could the The Lover be can all day vape?
Not for me it couldn't because i did find it a little bit of a throat dryer. If it wasn't for that then yes it could've been quite easily.

On a scale from 1 to 10 The Lover gets a 7

THE JOKER REVIEW: 12mg

The final selection in this review is The Joker. On Vintage's website it's described as an orange, vanilla & cream blend. I've had this kind of flavour profile before on a few occasions & found them absolutely delectable so i was looking forward to testing this one. The aroma is on par with an orange custard creme biscuit so i had a fair idea what flavour profile to expect especially as the previous blends i've tried tasted exactly like that - & that's exactly what i got.

Consistently on inhale i would get a creamy & clean, citrusy orange flavour with a slight sweetness. It literally tastes just like an orange custard creme to the point i'm not certain how else i can describe it. On exhale the orange flavouring tones down & your left with a custardy creme flavour & texture in the mouth which is also where the vanilla starts to shine through. I don't understand where the name The Joker came from but i'm sure Vintage have their reasons. All in all The Joker's a complex gourmet blend that's very moreish - once you put your mod down, you pick it straight back up again, well i did anyway. Throat hit was mild & slightly smooth - a bit too smooth for me but it tastes delicious & vapour production was splendid with a distinct citrusy, custardy carrying aroma. I would definitely recommend The Joker to dessert type vapers because that's what i get from this blend.

Would i purchase The Joker?
Yes i would, very enjoyable & perfect when the occasion calls for it.

Could The Joker be an all day vape?
Yes it could be!

On a scale from 1 to 10 The Joker gets a 7.

OVERALL OPINIONS:
Vintage have got themselves a lovely collection here (apart from 1) with an impressive container design. Their liquids are tasty, complex & highly consistent. I find the pricing so/so but i'm sure an extra 5ml wouldn't have hurt & would make purchasing the products more pleasing to potential customers (for the price) - But definitely worth trying them out if what you read in this review sounds like the kind of flavour profiles you look for in a vape.

PS: don't forget to email David guys ;)
