Classified Premium Review

Classified excerpt:

Classified doesn’t need fancy names or packaging gimmicks to enhance the appeal of its flavors. Simple yet sophisticated, straight forward yet complex, modest yet refined, each Classified E-Liquids flavor is crafted for those who appreciate the finer things in life. Let Classified E-liquids temporarily relieve you of your modern world responsibilities with a brief moment of well balanced vaping bliss.

If there's one thing the guys at Classified know how to do well, it's write an irresistible product line introduction which had me hook, line & sinker as soon as i read it. Classified E-Liquids are an extended gourmet line produced by the same geniuses that bought us the Ben Jonson's Quality selection - so needless to say i was expecting a vape experience either on par or better than, anything else for me at this point just wouldn't do: (Read my previous Ben Jonson's Quality review HERE).

For this review & for all blends i used the ileaf Lemo Drop on the eVic Supreme, Kanthal A1 28g - 9 wraps, 1.2ohm @ 16-18.5 Watts, organic japanese cotton.

Please note: When making a review of vendor products, you usually get an idea after testing a few liquids the quality & dynamic of their production processes. Because of this i choose 5 liquids to review. If a vendor has more than 1 line of e-liquid (such as standard & premium) i will review 5 from each. Any e-liquids that say IN TESTING or AWAITING REVIEW/DELIVERY next to the title will be updated in due time. I like to take my time with a product which is usually a week but sometimes it could be more & sometimes less. These reviews are my own opinions & the score i give each is my own preference score. A rating of 7 for me might be a 10 for you. 10 for me is the perfect vape in flavour complexity, vapour production & throat hit on any & every device i try it on.

Because i find Classified's product descriptions very appealing, i've opted to include them for all blends & of course, for your viewing pleasure.

Plush Description: This divine dessert flavour will leave your mouth watering with the taste of fresh, warm bananas fused with hints of vanilla & fluffy meringue.

First in line for review (as if you haven't already guessed) is Plush. Plush from Classified's description is essentially a banana souffle blend. I'm not a big fan of banana e-liquids but lately i've been trying banana blends from various vendors that have been surprising me. The aroma when i twisted the lime green cap off the black frosted glass bottle was absolutely delightful - the banana comes through extremely robust with profiles between authentic & candy-like infused with an almost golden syrupy, pastry type scent. I couldn't smell the vanilla & to be honest it smells nothing (apart from the banana) like as advertised - it smells better!

On inhale Plush was much lighter all round than i initially expected - it also tasted somewhat different to what i expected. A light & creamy "cooked" banana profile comes through on the lows with only a slight hint of its expected candy-like characteristics, the "cooked" banana taste then peaks on the high notes leaving an irresistible yet delicate fusion between itself & the vanilla on the exhales. I found this statement to be true & consistent with each & every vape & it's the reason why Plush has now become my favourite "banana" type vape. Plush is one of those e-liquids you have to try to really understand its complexity & quite simply, those that like it will love it & those that don't like it will still appreciate it!

Throat hit was perfect for me providing a smooth yet "spicy" kick & vapour production was just as good with slight hints of a light & fragrant banana carried within the clouds.

Would I purchase Plush?
Yes i would! i enjoyed my day of testing so much that it extended to 2 days. I think Plush is a lovely blend meticulously crafted to perfection & what i expect took months of revisions to achieve! Could it be better? Maybe, but then maybe in trying to revise, Plush becomes a slightly lower standard to what it is now - & we (vapers) couldn't have that now could we!

Could Plush be an all day vape?
Yes it could be very easily. Plush is a delicate, light & perfectly balanced blend that moves away from the banana "danger zone" of being candy-like & gracefully slides on all bands into an authentically replicated hot banana souffle dessert type vape.

On a scale from 1 to 10 Plush gets a 9.

INDULGE REVIEW: 12mg

Indulge Description: Take a moment for yourself & indulge in this savory blend of smooth vanilla custard & creamy pudding, aptly balanced with the flavour of an oven-baked pastry.

Indulge is Classified's take on a vanilla custard type blend & it's profiles like this that i love to vape on frequently. To me these kind of blends should be thick, creamy & full of flavour all round - just like the product it's supposed to replicate & through the years there's only ever been one vendor that's done that for me located in the UK (review coming soon). Another point IMO worth mentioning is that i've always found custardy type vapes that much better when a higher concentration of VG is used - like 70% because it not only enhances the overall sweetness, the dense clouds produce an kind of placebo effect giving the impression of flavour "thickness" (if that makes any sense).

Indulge's aroma certainly has custardy vanilla & baked pastry type elements to it & just like Plush it smells wonderful, but as they say "the proof is in the pudding" - On inhale i found Indulge to be very close in comparison to Classified's description. A light vanilla custard profile comes through clean & direct on the lows, that gradually evolve into a type of vanilla flavoured "shortbread" on the highs consistently. I didn't really notice any creaminess overall which i would've expected although i feel the flavour compensates. On exhale i found the pastry profile becomes slightly more prevalent & the vanilla custard tones down in strength. I just WISH that this blend had what i stated above regarding a higher VG content because the flavour is quite literally there but i feel it lacks that custardy "denseness" i like associating with these type of blends. Throat hit gave a perfect kick with a slight mellowness or smoothness to it & vapour production was great with a slightly sweet (which goes for the whole blend) & pleasant carrying aroma.

Would I purchase Indulge?
Yes i would although it's not the best i've tried to date but definitely very close to it.

Could Indulge be an all day vape?
Of course! the flavour is all there consistently & you know instinctively what you're vaping from the first inhale. I do however believe that vapers that regularly vape custard blends may prefer a higher VG alternative for the reasons i wrote above (IMO).

On a scale from 1 to 10 Indulge gets an 8.

KEEN REVIEW: 12mg

Keen Description: An invigorating blend of semi-sour kiwi & tart apple, which is rounded out by notes of sweet, succulent blueberry.

Love the name given to this blend! Keen, by definition has various meanings, although i think an "eagerness" seems a touch more fitting - an eagerness to please any & all that vape it. Keen has an unusual aroma to it to the extent where it almost smells savory by nature - kind of like a sweetened vegetable or tomato soup & i know that sounds crazy but that's what i picked up! If you happen to have a bottle to hand, put those flavour profiles in your mind & then give it a good sniff - am i wrong?
On inhale i can confirm that it tastes nothing like either soup - thank goodness :)
Keen for me has to be the most complex blend so far with noticeable fruity, sweet & sour layers. The first profile that caught my attention was the clean, distinct taste of the slightly sweet but sharp green apple on the lows, which then leads up to an apple & light blueberry mixture, finishing up with an all-in-one mixed flavour profile of the kiwi, apple & blueberry on the highs. Keen i feel has ambiguous characteristics because during my time of testing the flavours would sometimes mix up on me, sometimes i would get clear notes of the blueberry before tasting any apple & other times the blend would come through as complete - a one layered mix. The sourness is balanced out by the sweetness although i did like (best way i can describe it) the "soury" aftertaste left in my mouth during exhale - kind of like after the initial sensation when eating sour candy - just not as intense of course. Throat hit had a touch more kick to it than the previous which i feel boils down to its sour nature & vapour production was A+ with a fruity but slightly unusual carrying aroma.

Would I purchase Keen?
No i wouldn't simply because it's not for me but i do think it's another quality blend that will be popular with many vapers. Keen, although a fruity blend does have character & i feel makes a perfect addition to the classified line of e-liquids.

Could Keen be an all day vape?
Yes it could be, the fact that it kept me guessing during testing signifies to me that being a monotonous blend wouldn't be an issue. i recommend vaping Keen while sitting in the sun, sipping on an apple spritzer. I also believe our vape ladies will love this blend.

On a scale from 1 to 10 Keen gets an 8.

FUSION REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 1 Day

Fusion Description: Relax your mind with the refreshing taste of iced black tea blended with fresh blueberry & tropical passion fruit.

Fusion needs no introduction because the description says it all. I do enjoy tea blends & i had very high hopes for Fusion because the mixture of fruity flavours stimulated my "buds" even before i had my first vape - so let's get to the details! The aroma given off by Fusion is clearly & unmistakably a RICH black tea blend so much so that i masks the fruity elements a touch too much to the point where i could only smell VERY slight fruity nuances but i really had to give a good sniff.
On inhale Fusion is definitely much lighter in taste than aroma with an "unexpected" balance between the black tea & fruity profiles. The black tea reminds me pretty much exactly the same as Ben Jonson's Sweet Peach Tea variation, in that the black tea has a fresh & authentic taste reminiscent of a quality darjeeling brand on both the highs & the lows. As for Fusion's fruity elements, the flavour was moderately sweetened, clean & light! the blueberry & passion fruit are very well combined together & i noticed come through more defined during exhales - i could even taste a touch of orange which is a little confusing to say the least. Throat hit just like the previous was perfect & vapour production was very nice with an "earthy" but pleasant carrying aroma.

Would I purchase Fusion?
No i wouldn't. In all honesty, i completely appreciate Fusion for being a quality blend, although i've had better tea blends & this includes Ben Jonson's Sweet Peach Tea.

Could Fusion be an all day vape?
For me - no, but for the right vaper/s it appeals to, i think they'll enjoy it very much which would of course lead to daily usage.

On a scale from 1 to 10 Fusion gets a 7.

DELIGHT REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 1 Day
Received: This item was provided by the manufacturer.
Equipment: ileaf Lemo Drop on the eVic Supreme, Kanthal A1 28g - 9 wraps, 1.2ohm @ 16-18.5 Watts, organic japanese cotton.

Delight Description: An old fashioned cobbler with a savory fruit filling prepared with ripe peaches & sweet berries crowned with a thin biscuit topping.

Last in line for review was Delight & there's no better word for this blend IMO because it truly is. I've vaped plenty of cobbler variations over time & to be honest there's never been one that i disliked. I find these type of blends always provide unique flavour profiles & not one that i've vaped is the same as the other, which may sound like an obvious but it's really not with the amount of vendors in circulation. Delight has a beautiful aroma profile ranging from sweet peaches & mixed berries to a slightly buttery pastry - it completely smells like the real thing which opened up my "Vappetite".

On inhale i thoroughly enjoyed the way the flavours combined to create a subtle yet realistic cobbler experience. The lightly sweetened peach is without a doubt the main fruit flavouring although during every vape i started to noticed small nuances of maybe strawberry & blueberry although i really couldn't tell for certain - but what i do know, is that there's definitely an underlying fruity base that carries along with the peach discreetly & very well balanced. The "pastry" profiles i found to be an all-rounder throughout the vape on both the highs & the lows, i also liked the "cobbler" aftertaste that stayed in my mouth during that time. Throat hit, just like every single blend suited me perfectly & vapor production was splendid with a very light but scrumptious cobbler "oven baked" carrying aroma.

Would I purchase Delight?
Yes i would & i've already let the guys at Classified know that this is another one of my favourites. I recommend this blend to any & every fruit dessert type vaper because it's sublime.

Could Delight be an all day vape?
For me it could be very easily! I find Delight to be flavourful & consistent each & every time - tank after tank. Delight is another classified shining star that won't fail to satisfy even the most avid of vapers - just like me!

On a scale from 1 to 10 Delight gets a 10.

OVERALL OPINIONS
I had a great time reviewing the classified line & it most certainly proves that an extremely well created gourmet selection doesn't have to cost top shelf "over" prices - although everything about classified screams classiness from packaging to product. I really liked the black frosted glass bottles but what i didn't like was not being able to see how much e-liquid i had left, but obviously there's a simple fix which is hold the bottle up to a bright light. My favourites from the whole line would have to be Plush, Indulge & Delight. Plush & Delight i could vape day after day without becoming too tired of the flavours & Indulge has to be in my collection as a great vanilla custard alternative blend. I would love to see a Classified VG line down the road which i think would be outstanding using the same flavour profiles they use with the current selection - that would be a nice treat!
