Halo: Premium Selection Review

Halo were around when i first started vaping well over some years now & back then the Halo brand was synonymous for premium quality with some of the best reviews i took notice of & for a while i would use their products with one of my favorites in the review below.

The blends being used wern't purchased direct from Halo, they were purchased by an authorized vendor from within the EU.

Please note: When making a review of vendor products, you usually get an idea after testing a few liquids the quality & dynamic of their production processes. Because of this i choose 5 liquids to review. If a vendor has more than 1 line of e-liquid (such as standard & premium) i will review 5 from each. Any e-liquids that say IN TESTING or AWAITING REVIEW/DELIVERY next to the title will be updated in due time. I like to take my time with a product which is usually a week but sometimes it could be more & sometimes less. These reviews are my own opinions & the score i give each is my own preference score. A rating of 7 for me might be a 10 for you. 10 for me is the perfect vape in flavour complexity, vapour production & throat hit on any & every device i try it on.

TRIBECA REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 5 days
Received: This product was purchased by me
Equipment: Vapor shark DNA 30, Squape Reloaded, Kanthal A1 (28g) 8 Wraps - 1.2ohms @ 16.8 Watts, Japanese Organic Cotton

Tribeca was one of my favorite blends when i first started vaping years back, but slowly more varieties & vendors came on the scene much closer to home & i found new favourites. When i decided to do "another" Halo review amongst the hundreds already out there, i was actually quite excited & looking forward to tasting that Tribeca goodness all over again. In essence the Tribeca is a RY4 mixture which is basically a tobacco, vanilla & caramel blend. It definitely bought back memories just from the scrumptious aroma once i opened the bottle! On inhale there's a distinct lightly sweet, golden nuttiness that envelops the whole mouth & then as you slowly begin to exhale, smooth undertones of a creamy caramel becomes evident - very consistent, i don't taste vanilla but the creaminess i got from the undertone of the caramel could be a contributing factor. Throat hit just splendid & very satisfying, vapour production very good with a lovely carrying aroma & the flavour is just quality. I did notice slight differences from what i remember & i think all "veteran" vapers will agree that once you taste a blend you really like - you never forget it!... Not bad differences, maybe a flavouring change but i'm not certain. Would i purchase the Tribeca again? For old times sake i probably would. Could this blend be an all day vape? Yes, definitely!. On a score from 1 to 10 the Tribeca gets an 8

FREEDOM JUICE REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 1 Week
Received: This product was purchased by me
Equipment: Joyetech eVic Supreme, Russian 91%, Kanthal A1 (28g) 7 Wraps - 1.2ohms @ 15.5 Watts, Japanese Organic Cotton

This is my first time trying the Freedom Juice blend & i've read mixed reviews on the forums. From what i've read online this blend is said to be quite a mild tobacco blend with a slight sweetness - which to me doesn't sound bad at all! On opening the bottle there's a very mild & subtle aroma, kind of "earthy" i'd say which with most tobacco blends is expected & this does play with your mind a little because you tend to expect in flavour what you smell - right? but it's certainly not what you get when you take that first inhale. I noticed that "fresh" authentic tobacco taste (fresh tobacco tends to be slightly nutty) but only just a touch which i find extremely tasty. I did get the sweetness from this blend but you won't notice it compared to other variations available. I could compare this blend to a few others but it's not right to compare vendors in a review - but i will say the flavour profile isn't hard to find. Throat hit was a bit too mild for me but i think would suit a vaper new to the game, vapour production was great and the aroma left in the clouds was pleasant. Would i purchase this blend again? No it's not for me but i'm sure plenty will love this blend. Could it be an all day vape? Not for me because i find it a little too mild, but again - i'm sure plenty will swear by it. On a scale of 1 to 10 the Freedom Juice blend gets a quality 6.

TURKISH TOBACCO: 12mg

Testing Period: 1 day
Received: This product was purchased by me
Equipment: Vapor shark DNA 30, Orion RDA, Kanthal A1 (28g) 7 Wraps - 1.1ohms @ 17 Watts, Japanese Organic Cotton

Another first for me from Halo & i do like Turkish Tobacco blends. When i think of Turkish blends i expect it to be highly aromatic - almost kind of like an arabic/oriental, spicy, fragrant tobacco which is quite hard to explain unless you've had the pleasure of trying first hand. On opening the bottle the aroma was very mild & weak with a slight sweetness. I didn't get the aroma i was expecting when i compare to other Turkish blends available & unfortunately for a Turkish blend i feel like the profile's all wrong! On inhale the taste i got from this was inline with a slightly aromatic, mild "off the shelf" bag of pipe tobacco with slightly noticable tones of sweetness. Another negative for me was the dryness! it really did make my throat very dry & i noticed i was drinking a cuppa much more than usual which some might put down to the PG - but for me i put it down to being a very dry blend. Throat hit was too mild for me, vapour production was good. Would i purchase the Turkish again? No thanks - i've had & know there's much better variations available. Could this be an all day vape? No, it's just too dry a vape for me. As a comparison to other Turkish blends i've had - on a scale of 1 to 10 the Turkish gets a 2 & i'm just being polite!

TWISTED JAVA: 12mg

Testing Period: 1 Week
Received: This product was purchased by me
Equipment: Joyetech eVic Supreme, Smok RSST, Kanthal A1 (30g) 7 Wraps - 1.6ohms @ 12.8 Watts, Stainless Steel Mesh #400

If you've read some of my previous reviews, you'll see that i'm not a fan of mint although i'm not biased towards it & if a blend is good then i'll say it. Twisted Java is a Cappuccino, Caramel/Mint blend & i've seen plenty of top notch reviews floating around so this was another "can't wait to try" flavour i was looking forward to becuase i do like coffee type blends. When i opened the bottle the aroma came through as delicious & i could tell immediately what the flavour profile was even if i didn't know before hand. On inhale i could taste a slightly sweet, cooling creamy coffee (& it was creamy). The mint isn't overpowering & even for me i think it compliments the other flavours perfectly. The caramel becomes noticable during exhale & even more noticable in the fragrance of the vapour! a VERY nice beverage/gourmet type blend with a complexity that nails the flavour profile on the head with the flavours that are being replicated. Throat hit was perfect for me & consistent, vapour production was just as good as the others & to sum the flavour up: an extremely good cappuccino gourmet blend!. Would i purchase this blend again: Yes i would, it's one of those blends that need to be in the "stash". could this be an all day vape? No, i couldn't vape this all day & use blends like this as a "go to" night time treat. On a scale of 1 to 10 the Twisted Java gets a well deserved 9 - peaking a 10!

CAFE MOCHA: 12mg

Testing Period: 4 Days
Received: This product was purchased by me
Equipment: Joyetech eVic Supreme, Smok RSST, Kanthal A1 (30g) 7 Wraps - 1.6ohms @ 13.2 Watts, Stainless Steel Mesh #400

Halo seem to have their coffee type blends in check & the Mocha is another blend that verifies that. I couldn't find much in terms of online reviews in the forums but those i did find were mixed - either way, as i said before i do like coffee type blends & it was another blend i couldn't wait to get my lungs around. When i opened the bottle what i got was straight aromatic hazelnut & cappuccino - more or less the same aroma released from a good Starbucks blend & so far all signs were looking good. On inhale that's exactly what i got! a slightly sweet, light cappuccino flavour with the hazelnut peaking its earthy - nutty head on the top end! the complexity comes in when i started tasting undertones of, what tasted to me like roasted pecan with caramel & slight hints of cocoa - this was consistent the 4 days i was testing this blend & i really did like the flavour profile. Throat hit was perfect for me & vapour production was good. Would you purchase this blend again? No i wouldn't because if i was to purchase a coffee type blend from halo, it would be the Twisted Java & the fact i don't like mint is saying something - but i'm sure many will & already do. Could this be an all day vape: No & i say this because it made my throat extremley dry the 4 days i was using it - & i mean DRY! but again i'm sure many already do use this as an all day option. On a scale of 1 to 10 the Cafe Mocha gets a respectable 6.

OVERALL OPINIONS:
When it comes to quality, Halo are definitely up there & have been around long enough. Prices are good for what you get but i've noticed when purchasing from vendors outside of Halo they like to mark the products up quite a bit & make a little profit in the process, for example (without naming vendors) i've seen 30ml bottles retailing for over €30 which with todays exchange rate is equal to $37+ which i think is disgusting & something Halo should be keeping control of - especially when they sell 30ml for $19.99. All in all, apart from the Turkish blend - a very enjoyable testing period.

Five Pawns: Signature Sample Pack Review

I've heard and read good things about Five Pawns and "Apparently" they produce the best e-liquid blends available on the market - so obviously i couldn't help myself and for the price i expect BIG things. This is my review of the Five Pawns Signature Series e-liquids. Five Pawns is a gourmet e-liquid vendor based in California, USA and the Signature Series was in development  for 6 months before release (as stated on their website). All their liquids are made in-house with the ingredients sourced domestically or locally. I didn't purchase direct from the manufacturer because i don't live in the US and had to get a contact to do that for me as at the time i wanted to place the order there wasn't any international shipping and i believe there still isn't. The sample pack is definitely up there in price being $23.50 for 5 x 4ml bottles (20ml) and i just couldn't justify spending $100+ to review products i might not even enjoy. When i test liquids i usually take my time and each blend here didn't last half the day (yes i know it's a "sample pack". I do however like to test all lines a vendor produces and have another 5 x 4ml sample pack on the way: The Mixology Edition MMXIV (This will be a seperate review).

Please note: Any e-liquids that say IN TESTING or AWAITING REVIEW/DELIVERY next to the title will be updated in due time. These reviews are my own opinions and the score i give each is my own preference score. A rating of 7 for me might be a 10 for you. 10 for me is the perfect vape in flavour complexity, vapour production and throat hit on any and every device i try it on.

GRANDMASTER REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 4 - 8 Hrs
Received: This product was purchased by me.
Equipment: Eleaf iStick, Aspire Nautilus Mini, Aspire Nautilus BVC atomizer - 1.8ohm @ 14 Watts.

My initial expectations before testing the Grandmaster blend was high and all the hype flooding around forums had me extremely excited. The vendor website emphasizes "creamy peanut butter, banana cream and balanced with velvety caramel". When i first opened the sampler i did get that nutty - sweet banana type aroma and the liquid was "so - so" in viscosity which is to be expected with a 50/50 blend. I found the Grandmaster complex in aroma in the beginning, but after a few good sniffs the flavours were to an extent discernible to me. I wouldn't throw "creamy" into the mix as the vendor does because i didn't find it creamy in the slightest but i did find it quite smooth (not velvety) but still very nice with a respectable throat hit. Flavour wise the peanut butter (more on the nutty side) came through for me during the exhale and i do love my peanut butter. On the inhale i tasted a distinct candied banana type flavour with ever so slight tones of (what tasted to me) like an old english toffee.  all in all - a pleasant dessert gourmet blend. Vapour production came through superbly on the Nautilus and the 50% VG content contributes to that. Could this blend be an all day vape? Not for me but i could see a dessert vaper loving this stuff. On a scale of 1 to 10 the Grandmaster gets a above average 6.

ABSOLUTE PIN REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 4 - 8 Hrs
Received: This product was purchased by me.
Equipment: Eleaf iStick, Aspire Nautilus Mini, Aspire Nautilus BVC atomizer - 1.8ohm @ 14 Watts.

I found the Absolute Pin probably the 2nd most complex blend i've ever encountered. Distinct notes of rich Irish Cream, hints of Cinnamon with undertones of liquorice and mint with which sometimes during exhale i could only describe as the most luxurious, minty Cinnamon roll on the planet. A very robust blend and something completely different. I'm not sure what type i would class this though because sometimes it's a beverage vape and then other times it's a dessert vape - very complex. Throat hit suited me perfectly and i would class it higher than medium in terms of kick - although i'm not a fan of anything that has mint! i do however like beverage vapes and the Irish Cream came through for me superbly. Vapour production on par with the Grandmaster which makes sense being the same ratio and tested on the same setup. Could this be an all day vape? Not for me again because i feel blends like this should only be used as a treat for those that like this kind of flavour profile - or if it was used as an all day vape, that would be it, just the day and not the rest of the week. On a scale of 1 to 10 the Absolute Pin absolutely gets a 6.

BOWDEN'S MATE REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 4 - 8 Hrs
Received: This product was purchased by me.
Equipment: Eleaf iStick, Aspire Nautilus Mini, Aspire Nautilus BVC atomizer - 1.8ohm @ 15.5 Watts.

Bowden's mate for me is probably the easiest review so far. If you've ever had an after dinner mint crisp like an After Eight - well there you go. Light in flavour, undertones of vanilla with a milky chocolate taste that wasn't too strong but i did find the mint a touch overboard. Nice throat hit with a cooling finish and only just slightly sweet. Vapour production i found seemed a little more cloudy than the previous 2 on the same setup but then again i was on 15.5 Watts. As a desert vape this is very nice and if the mint doesn't bother you it'll probably be a nice edition to a collection. Could this blend be an all day vape? Not for me and i can't see how it could be for anyone even if you love it because i think after a few hours your taste buds would need another flavour to rescue them. On a scale of 1 to 10 Bowden's mate gets a friendly 5.

GAMBIT REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 4 - 8 Hrs
Received: This product was purchased by me.
Equipment: Eleaf iStick, Aspire Nautilus Mini, Aspire Nautilus BVC atomizer - 1.8ohm @ 14 Watts.

The Gambit is described by the vendor as "sweet and mellow ripe apple with savory pie crust and caramel. Topped off with french vanilla ice cream and unsweetened whipped cream"... That sounded yummy and couldn't wait to give it a go - and i'm pleased i did. Exactly as decribed although i'm not sure how "unsweetened whipped cream" fits in to the profile - just my opinion! On inhale i get that bakery crusty and buttery taste, then straight after what tastes like lightly sweetened baked apples and very mild undertones of vanilla... very mild. On exhale there is definitely a creaminess left behind in the mouth and it's very moreish. Throat hit was perfect and well balanced, vapour production just as good as the others and flavour was described in essence very well by the vendor. Could this be an all day vape? YES - FINALLY i found one that i could definitely use all day, i found it annoying the sampler was only 4 ml - that's nothing to the average vaper so just as i was really enjoying the Gambit - i went dry. Albeit i was pleasantly suprised and throughly enjoyed the testing. On a score of 1 to 10 the Gambit gets an 8 - by far the best dessert type blend i've tried from the sample pack but not the best desert type blend i've had.

QUEENSIDE REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 4 - 8 Hrs
Received: This product was purchased by me.
Equipment: Eleaf iStick, Aspire Nautilus Mini, Aspire Nautilus BVC atomizer - 1.8ohm @ 14 Watts.

The best citrus blend i've tested to date. Queenside is delicious and crafted perfectly. Deep, bold and authentically tasting orange tones on inhale with mild, creamy vanilla type undertones during exhale. I also got a slight taste of either a lemon or something that's adding a touch of sourness in the mix. The aroma is just delicious - dangerously delicious and again i'm annoyed the test didn't last long enough. 1 thing i really liked about this blend and the Gambit is the aroma carried by the vapour, they both have such a sweet and delicious air about them so you're sure not to offend bystanders with rouge - unusal smells. Throat hit was very satisfying and i think the citrusy flavouring played a little role in that along with the nicotine and PG. Vapour production was quality and the setup i've been using throughout the review has been solid. Could this be an all day vape? Very much so. To sum the Queenside up in 3 words: refreshing, satisfying and delicious. On a score of 1 to 10 the Queenside gets a majestic 10.

OVERALL OPINIONS:
Truth be told, i was expecting much more and it goes to show that sometimes hype is just hype! The signature line does have some delicious blends and some that are just ok. I'm currently waiting for the Mixology sample pack to arrive of which i'll make a seperate review and which i hope excites my taste buds a little bit more. Don't take what i've written in this part too negative because it's just my own opinion & if you're a Five Pawns customer and you find their blend's the best - great! whatever keeps you off the analogs is what really matters at the end of the day.

eCig Hellas: White Label Review

The Black & Red Label line of e-liquids from e-Cig Hellas are the premium pipe/tobacco/cigar selections. The White Label i suppose would be the "standard" line which reflects in the price & there's no shortage in choice because the White Label menu is HUGE, but don't let that dissuade you because when it comes to quality, i could hardly differentiate between them - so let's begin my review on the White Label line of e-liquids produced by eCig Hellas, Greece. Please note that this vendor has a good standing and is considered a very reliable vendor from within the EU. They also have their liquids tested for impurities on a monthly basis by two universities located in Northern and Southern Greece (as stated on the eCig Hellas website). They provide good options in terms of Nicotine strengths from 0mg all the way up to 36mg & provide bottling options of 15ml, 20ml, 25ml & 50ml. For these reviews i've been using a nicotine strength of 12mg with various devices over different periods.

CAPPUCCINO REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 1 Week
Received: This product was purchased by me
Equipment: Joyetech eVic Supreme, Joyetech Delta 23, Joyetech C3 triple coil atomizer 1.4ohm @ 17 Watts.

Cappuccino blends tend to be "hit or miss" & i've tried quite a few because i do tend to move towards coffee blends from time to time! Many i've liked & then many just didn't taste like a Cappuccino in the slightest. When i think (or drink) a Cappuccino, i expect it to be creamy, slightly sweet, not overwhelming & of course to be able to taste the fresh coffee bean... i don't expect that same attention to detail when creating an e-liquid because i think only a true artisan gourmet blender could accomplish these characteristics - & to date i've yet to find a Cappuccino blend that would exceed my initial expectations, although eCig Hella's version is in my top 5 of favorite Cappuccino e-liquids at the moment. Flavour is light & not overpowering, i would compare this more in flavour to a milky latte than a Cappuccino (& yes there is a difference between the 2), top notch aroma & just slightly sweet on the inhale, also it never dried my mouth out which surprised me because i was really vaping hard on the testing setup. Throat hit was very satisfying & vapour production was superb. Would i purchase this blend again? Yes!, Could this be an all day vape? Yes & i say this because it is quite a light blend & if you like light, fragrant coffee style e-liquids i'm sure you won't be disappointed. On a scale of 1 to 10, the Cappuccino gets an elegant 8.

CREME BRULEE REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 5 Days
Received: This product was purchased by me
Equipment: Joyetech eVic Supreme, Joyetech Delta 23, Joyetech C3 triple coil atomizer 1.4ohm @ 18 Watts.

The 1st thing i wanted to do when i opened a fresh bottle was drink the stuff (Don't do this!). The aroma just blew my mind & is definitely in my top 2 of custardy type vapes. These type of blends tend to be hard to mimic & i've a few gathering dust at the moment that don't deserve to touch the lining of my tanks & which i leave for guests i don't like very much (interesting reviews coming soon). eCig Hella's Creme Brulee is quite a new edition to the White Label line & in my books is a winner. Perfectly creamy, custardy & sumptuous, a perfect representation of a classic dessert that just seemed to improve on a daily basis during the testing period. The sweetness is there but again in my books it's just right so all in all, this is a quality desert vape, it's actually much better than blends i've vaped at triple the cost. Throat hit was smooth but i still got the kick, vapour production was quality & i absolutely loved the aroma around the house during that time (so did others). Would i purchase this again? Yes, Could this be an all day vape? No! & i believe that's the same with all dessert vapes, it is for me anyway, it's good to move on to another blend during the day - you tend to appreciate a great blend even more. On a scale of 1 to 10 - for a dessert vape this puppy gets a superior 9.

BUTTERSCOTCH REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 5 Days
Received: This product was purchased by me
Equipment: Joyetech eVic Supreme, Orchid RTA Clone, Kanthal A1 (28g) 2mm Coil - 8 Wraps - 1.2ohm @ 18.5 Watts, Japanese Organic Cotton.

I used to love Butterscotch Angel Delight in the UK when i was younger & it's one of those flavours you never forget so maybe some will find this review a little flawed in comparison but i beg to differ because Butterscotch should taste like Butterscotch! unfortunately i just don't get that with this blend which was a little disappointing because it was a vape i was really looking forward to. What i do get from this blend is quite hard to describe - it's not a bad vape in the slightest but it's just a little disconcerting when your palate's expecting one thing & then receives another. I've got the feeling that the flavour ratio needs a higher percentage because even after a weeks steeping it still looks & tastes very weak. Lightly pink-ish brown in colour with a light, sweet aroma. Throat hit was satisfying & vapour production on my testing setup was chucking the clouds. Would i purchase this again? Maybe & i say maybe because this vendor doesn't sell low quality in my experiences with them & i'm hoping this was just from a bad batch which happens. Could this be an all day vape? Not the sample i currently have & i did give this 5 days testing & although in terms of satisfying my nicotine cravings it hit the spot dead on - my brain just couldn't get around expecting Butterscotch & not getting that. On a scale of 1 to 10 the Butterscotch gets an OK 4.

TOBACCO-COWBOY REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 1 - 2 Weeks
Received: This product was purchased by me
Equipment: Eleaf iStick, Joyetech Delta 19, Joyetech C3 dual coil atomizer 1.6ohm @ 16.5 Watts.

I've tried a few of the Tobacco blends in the White Label line & i've singled out my favorite (so far) - being the Cowboy! A rich, deep yellow coloured liquid with a strong, rich nutty aroma. This is not a light or mild blend & it does clog coils up pretty quickly (if you're a heavy vaper), but that really didn't bother me, it didn't bother me because this is an exceptional vape & so far from the Tobaccos i've tried in this line, has stood up & above the rest. It's not for everyone though! i do enjoy liquids with a good throat hit that's consistent with every vape & i would recommend this blend to beginners. Another pleasurable aspect of this blend is the aroma that lingers on - it smells almost like pecan nuts IMO. Very nice indeed! Would i purchase this blend again? Yes. Could it be an all day vape? Quite easily but again, i don't think this would suit a vaper that prefers mild & smooth vapes, you just won't get that. Vapour production was superb on the setup i was using that week or so but i did change 3 coils in that time but i guess there's always a price for quality. Flavour was consistent & becomes more intense with an average steep. On a scale of 1 to 10 the Cowboy gets a "bucking" good 7.

TOBACCO-ACE N.1 REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 3 Days
Received: This product was purchased by me.
Equipment: Innokin iTaste MVP v2, Kanger Protank Mini 2, single coil atomizer 1.8ohm @ 3.6 Volts.

Now for my least favorite from the Tobaccos. My personal preferences when vaping tobacco blends the Ace N.1 just doesn't achieve. From the aroma you can tell straight away that it's a tobacco blend & it reminded me of a freshly opened bag of a dry rolling tobacco like Golden Virginia i'd say - which would have been a good thing if i'd just stopped smoking but because i've been vaping well over 4 years - almost 5 now, them sort of blends just don't appeal to me anymore. My reason for deciding to put this blend up for review is because i firmly believe it's the closest i've ever tried to the real thing & i know that would interest a few people. Throat hit gets in good & is satisfying, vapour production - quality as usual & the flavour, the best way i can describe it, it's like a very clean tobacco "smoke". This has got quite a pungent aroma & once you use it on a coil, forget about reusing with other liquids because that taste just doesn't get out. 3 Days was enough for me. i did however pass it on to a family member that started vaping a few months ago & they think it's the best! Would i purchase this blend again? Yes - but not for my own personal use. Could this be an all day vape? Yes, if you're looking for a close alternative to a dry, rolling type tobacco blend. On a scale of 1 to 10 - for me the Ace N.1 gets a not so Ace 3

OVERALL OPINIONS:
The competitive prices of the White Label line of e-liquids & in most instances the high quality nature of the products make them a well worthy contender & definitely a vendor i would purchase products from. I urge the UK community to give these guys a try. I have noticed eCig blends being sold by some UK online stores but for the wait of a day or 2 - i would rather go direct. I currently have some YouTube videos in the making & some more of their brands will be reviewed.

eCig Hellas: Black Label Review

My review of the Black Label line of e-liquids produced by eCig Hellas, Greece.

TILE MILD (No1) REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 4 Days
Received: This product was given to me (Not by vendor)
Equipment: Joyetech eVic Supreme, Joyetech Delta 23, Joyetech C3 triple coil atomizer 1.4ohm @ 18 Watts

The Tile Mild blend is not what i would consider mild because it does produce a lightly spicy kick in the back of your throat during inhale which is not related to the nicotine. The liquid itself has no complexity but it is an exquisite vape. predominant tones of maple overall with a dark, aromatic pipe tobacco "feel" but a light aroma (if that makes any sense). Over the 4 days i was using this liquid i found it to be very moreish, meaning i found every time i would put my device down - i wanted more. The maple isn't harsh or overpowering but you know it's there & the sweetness is only really noticeable during exhale - only JUST noticeable so don't expect a sweet tobacco blend because it's not. I also found this to be a touch dry but that could be down to the amount i was vaping. Would i purchase this for personal use? probably not & that's only because it doesn't suit my flavour profile & although i did enjoy the testing period (contradicting myself a little there), i prefer other Black Label blends more suited for my tastes. For some reason i do feel that this is a blend aimed more at the vape "connoisseur", the kind of vaper that likes to have a varied collection of blends. Could it be an all day vape? Yes it can but prepare for a little dryness in your mouth because if you're a vaper like me you'll be reaching for your device without realizing. Flavour is consistent with every vape even at higher temperatures, the lingering aroma is "kind of" sweet but all in all quite pleasant. As i mentioned at the beginning - Throat hit is lightly spicy but very satisfying, vapour production was quite cloudy on my testing setup & stuck around a while. Flavour - exquisite: for the "connoisseur". On a scale of 1 to 10, i give Tile Mild an above average 6.

PINE HAVANA (No4) REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 2 Weeks on/off
Received: This product was given to me (Not by vendor)
Equipment: Innokin iTaste MVP v2, Aspire Nautilus Mini, Aspire Nautilus BVC atomizer - 1.8ohm @ 3.8 Volts

I'm not certain how the Pine or Havana fit into the Pine Havana blend because what i get is probably the most delectable turkish tobacco PREMIUM vape i've tried to date. Avid turkish tobacco vapers will absolutely love this blend. Highly aromatic & IMO has nothing to do with pines or havana (cigar). I get that sweet-ish, aromatic, turkish-oriental pipe aroma. After checking the vendors website, their description says "dry havana leaves mixed with traditional greek & turkish tobaccos & a hint of black european pine" (OK that's where the pine & havana come from). All i can say to that is i believe the ingredients have somehow enhanced the turkish tobacco flavouring to another level. I've used turkish tobacco blends many times in the past. Quite simply, unless you've tried a turkish tobacco blend before, i don't think you would appreciate Pine Havana's complexity. If you haven't then pick up a bottle of turkish tobacco from somewhere, then pick up a bottle of this! As for throat hit - perfect for me, i really like a kick at the back of my throat and this is on par with some of my other favorite blends from various vendors. Vapour production in the nautilus mini is just stupendous - & i mean that in a good way. Flavour, well... read my review again :)

Could this be an all day vape? As much as i truly believe this thus far is the best turkish tobacco type blend i've tried, i couldn't vape it all day! a blend like this for me gets vaped when i'm relaxing, watching a movie or taking some time out  - so no, for me it's not an all day vape.

Would i personally purchase this blend for myself? yes i would & on a scale of 1 to 10 the Pine Havana gets a superb 9

BLONDY (No5) REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 1 Week
Received: This product was given to me (Not by vendor)
Equipment: Joyetech eVic Supreme, Kayfun Lite 3.1 Clone, Kanthal A1 Micro Coil (28g) 7 wraps - 0.8ohm @ 15 Watts, Japanese Organic Cotton

The Blondy was given to me by a fellow reviewer knowing i was in the process of testing the Black Label line & at that point i was happy about that simply because i tend to purchase e-liquids i review with my own, hard earned money & nothing is more disappointing to a vaper than making a purchase & receiving a bad "premium" juice you expect to be higher in quality - BUT i can honestly say that if i did actually purchase this bottle i would NOT have been disappointed in the slightest. The Blondy is a light, fragrant & slightly sweet tobacco e-liquid with noticable tones of butterscotch that fuse together perfectly!

The Blondy is not what i would call a "complex" blend & flavours are distinguishable from the get go. The bottle i was given had at least 2 months steeping time & IMO that was definitely needed because although being a lovely blend, it is very light & my experience tells me that had this been a fresh bottle, the flavours wouldn't have developed as well as they have now! Maybe upping the flavour ratios would be benefitial. I've been using the Blondy for roughly a week and if i had more it could easily be an all day vape due to its mild, slightly sweet nature. Throat hit is mild & smooth, quality vapour production on my Kayfun clone & flavour is enjoyable - if you're a butterscotch vaper & like your tobacco blends from time to time then maybe this is a wise choice. On a scale of 1 to 10 the Blondy gets a respectable 7

CIGARILLO (No9) REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: Continuous usage
Received: This product was purchased by me
Equipment: Joyetech eVic Supreme, Russian 91% v2, Kanthal A1 Micro Coil (28g) 9 wraps - 1.1ohm @ 14.5 Watts, Japanese Organic Cotton

The most classy & complex blend that i've tried so far in the Black Label line of e-liquids & a personal favorite i always have in my "stash" that i happily vape away frequently. Consistent with every vape & incredibly delicious for a Pipe/Cigar type e-liquid. A strong, robust flavour profile with a touch of sweetness, a slight liqourice presence but just noticable & smooth bourbon undertones. Could i use this blend all day? YES i could & i have on many occasions. Throat hit is spicy & satisfying. Quality vapour production on my setup even with the Russian 91% & flavour IMO is superb! The Cigarillo is a true premium grade e-liquid & every single drop is worth its weight in gold. I think my only "gripe" with this would be its title! Cigarillo just seems too cheap a name for the quality contained within the bottle, but that's just my opinion. To summarize - A top shelf pipe/cigar type e-liquid with a slight hint of liqourice, slightly sweet with smooth bourbon undertones. On a scale of 1 to 10, this peaks at 11 - it's that good!

COLORADO (No11) REVIEW: 12mg

Testing Period: 1.5 - 2 Days
Received: This product was purchased by me
Equipment: Vamo V5, Stillaire RDA v2, Kanthal A1 Micro Coil (30g) 7 wraps - 1.6ohm @ 12 Watts, Japanese Organic Cotton.

The ColoRado blend IMO shouldn't be in the Black Line of e-liquids because i just don't get that premium type quality that's to be expected. That's not to say that it's not a "nice" blend because it is, it's just.... nice, nothing more & nothing less. The liquid itself is pink, borderline red with a maple & light virginia type tobacco aroma. Not much sweetness & quite dry. I used the ColoRado for a few days & had enough of it during that time to the extent i would only go back to it in emergencies which i can't see happening anytime soon. The maple does come through slightly on exhale but i feel the Virginia tobacco taste comes through much more. Throat hit is quite mild, quality vapour production but unfortunatley not my "cup of tea" in the flavour department - that's not to say you wouldn't enjoy it! if you like a light, dry tobacco blend, it's worth at least a try. On a scale of 1 to 10, this gets a standard 5. I will say that i think this is one of those blends that can't actually be improved because of the flavouring being used! i think the flavouring itself is of a dry nature and even adding some kind of sweetner wouldn't improve it overall.

OVERALL OPINIONS:
It's actually quite hard to find vendors that pay attention to their customers & care about the quality of their products. My personal experiences with eCig Hellas has always been pleasant with fantastic customer service & very fast order to shipping times. The Black Label line prices are up there when it comes to Premium grade but IMO it's worth it & definitely up there with some of the more popular brands available i've tried - I expect big things from this vendor & expect to hear much more about them in the forums.
